Service and atmosphere is “to be desired.”
Very pricey for hot dogs (they must be making a killing with the overhead).
Glorified food truck and not even the quality of some of those, very unfortunate.

Happy I stumbled upon Mochinut! This place is an absolute W. Pulled up to the soccer field with these and instantly secured top-tier Sigmama status.

The mochi donuts are light, chewy, and not overly sweet. I usually pass on donuts, but Mochinut converted me. We’ll definitely be back to try the corn dogs, which I’ve now learned are a must, even for someone who hates corn dogs (and donuts)

Fun, different, and worth the stop!!

Came in 30 minutes before closing and everything was phenomenal. The employees were kind and helpful. The food was made fresh and promptly, and they still had a full selection of donuts and donut holes. The original corn dog is incredible. Can’t wait to be back to try the sweet potato one! (Already ate a couple bites of the corn dog in the picture, got too excited).

I don’t know what I was expecting but I definitely thought it was going to taste better than it was. On social media the type of corn dogs they sell looked cheeseier and crunchier. I love hot Cheetos so of course I got the hot Cheetos dog. It was greasy and soggy, but the original corn dog and Fritos corn dog were crunchy and my kids liked them. The donuts were so good especially the Dubai chocolate one. They were on the pricy side but I would buy them again. My husband got a boba strawberry milk tea that was too sweet and artificial tasting. Over all I would go again for donuts and to try the ramen bar!!

It’s the newest location of Mochinut. What’s not to like? This one is off of MLK Jr. Blvd. and Broadway. It’s hidden by the Post Office when coming from Lakewood onto Broadway.

The service here is so much better than the one in Temple Terrace. The young man at the counter was very helpful. There were a few items that I’d never seen before. The self-serve ramen bar, mochi balls, and Dubai chocolate bars were all new to me. I also don’t remember seeing the sweet potato corn dogs. I just had to try it.

The corn dog was fried perfectly. It was so crispy on the outside. I was even asked if I wanted sugar sprinkled on top of it. Yes, please!! The taste of the sweet potato with the cheese reminded me a little of the cereal topped ones. It made a good savory & sweet bite. One corn dog was enough for me. It’s huge! The half cheese & half hot dog is my favorite.

The Dubai chocolate bar was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. It’s a smaller and less expensive version of it. I really like the pistachio & kataifi filling. I’ve never had the original one, so I have nothing to compare it to. This one seemed crunchier.

The mochi donuts are what you would expect. I’ve only been able to try one so far. The passion fruit one is a winner. The coffee latte was pretty average. I did ask to adjust it to 50% sweet. He was able to do that for me. That’s great because I remembered that the Mochinut boba drinks I had in the past were super sweet. This one was better, but not as good as shops specializing in boba. If that makes sense.

I’ll need a few more visits so that I can try other items. It’s great to have a Mochinut so close to Brandon. Give it a try.

I am Excited to see Mochinut was finally open. Today I tried the cookies and cream, caramel churro and the choco churro. These donuts are firm on the outside and soft and chewy on the outside. The assortment of Flavours is nice they have something for everyone. The staff were polite and helpful the be atmosphere was cool I liked the ramen wall and the ramen cooking station . I will definitely come back to try something new next time.

Was excited to see a new place pop up to try. Definitely worth trying out if you like to try new things. The donuts were delicious, and their Chia Milk Tea was also phenomenal with the Boba. Will be easily a frequent flyer here.

the place is run down and the employees are just as dense. be careful ordering online. if they don’t have the donuts, they will give you donuts that “look like” what you ordered and flat out say nothing about substituting it when you go to pick up. or even offer a courtesy call to cancel the order. what if i had an allergy to what was substituted? customer service is refusing to make it right. food wise–this location sucks. the food at the lakeland location was a lot better, and even cleaner looking. save your time and money.

This was my first time here, and I really was not knowledgeable about this type of food at all. I went in and asked about each item. And the manager/boss, not sure came out and describe each one to me. He told me he cooked them fresh that day. I tried the mozzarella stick and then I tried the caramel, custard,

The food here is wonderful. They also have a really cute Ramen self-service bar and offer some nice toppings. You get a choice of three different toppings, with the purchase of a ramen bowl, and their selection is nice. You pick out your preferred instant ramen pack and the three toppings of your choice are included with that purchase. I checked it out recently when I went to pick up an online order and am looking forward to trying it. Unfortunately, my pick up did not go well. It was through a separate app and the pickup did not go as planned. I arrived during the specified pickup window, which was from 9:45-10:15pm. Unfortunately they close at 10 and i arrived at 10:02. They did not have my order and offered me two boba tea drinks instead if I came back the next day. I was disappointed of course, but stuff happens, no biggie. The next day I went back and the person I originally spoke with wasn’t there, but he had filled in the person who was there on our agreement. Unfortunately, that person chose not to honor our verbal agreement and I ended up having to haggle for one Boba, which I didn’t appreciate. But at least I got something, I guess I should be happy. It did leave a very bad taste in my mouth though (No pun intended). I will give them one more try, and I will not use that app again with them. We’ll see what happens. He told me that it was owned by the same ones who owned the Mochinut on Fowler, which I was really surprised to hear because i’ve always gotten such excellent service from there. I myself am a small business owner, and I get costs and things like that. But when you don’t honor specified hours or agreements you made with other apps, that makes you look really bad. And the least you can do is compensate appropriately, especially if there was already an agreement in place for that. It’s just good business. I will be trying Mochinut Seffner one more time and will post the results for you. I’m a huge fan of the Mochinut on fowler and I live in brandon, so having one close by was very exciting, so i’m going to be seriously bummed if they fail again.
