The place was a bit too empty for a Saturday afternoon, but overall we had a nice experience. Local beers were generally good (Oktoberfest being the best), burgers were juicy; deep fried figs for desert weren’t our favorite though. Overall place has more of a pub than of a brewery vibe.

Forgot to take photos of all the food items but the vegetarian chili is amazing!! Servers are very nice. This place has a very lovely charm. They make their own beer (brewery!) and hot sauce. Do come visit if you are in the area!

Tony provides some great food and new brews here on tap and in bottles. Just listening to what he’s coming up with is amazing, and a mix of interesting stories and ingredients waiting for the next barrel.

Inside decor is a mix of liquor brands and ads and a knightly armor watching over the dining area. Parking in the muni lot in the back for 2hr or on the street, and back entry and front entry. They have an upstairs, I think, but it wasn’t open when we went. The big brewery tanks for beer located to the right room as you enter, as well as one of those little sand/hand shuffleboard tables.

Nachos were ok, a good mix of toppings, though I will have to ask for more olives in the future. Service was a little slow, but at least they figured out they were missing an extra after-dinner candy for the group of four- good check by the young man.

The key to visit for: The Ante-Gator is an antelope-alligator-ribeye-pork burger which is amazing. This is the only place I know that does this combo. Obviously not rare (must be fully cooked because of the pork and antelope), and instead of the normal salad on top, you get shredded napa cabbage, jalapeno bottle caps, chipotle aioli for a kick, smoked mozzarella, french fried onions, bacon, and comes with garlic dill steak fries & a house made pickle on top. Juicy, and limited – if you come late, you may not get one, so if you want to call ahead and reserve if you have a large party that wants more than a couple! Amazing and filling burger, and the dill steak fries (if you’re a fan of dill) are hard to stop eating! Definitely filling… couldn’t finish the fries.

Wry cool bar with excellent house made beers on tap. A large selection of imports in bottles and cans, and great German inspired food. Many menu options you don’t see every day! Desert was also top notch and all was reasonably priced.

Food? Absolutely delicious. Beer? Smooth and refreshing. Service? Always friendly and attentive. I guess some folks just make a full-time hobby out of being disappointed everywhere they go, but that’s definitely not my experience here. Every visit’s been solid great vibes, great food, and people who actually care about what they do.

Found this little gem on “Untappd”. A fine establishment that family friendly and offers great brews and American fanfare. Plenty of choices ranging from traditional entrees, salad, and sandwiches. Service was quite friendly from our “John Mayer” lookalike and offered good suggestions for beer. I would certainly come back here.

The only suggestion I would offer these folks is perhaps adding a “kids menu”. Certainly couldn’t hurt.

Great quiet spot! Drafts beers and IPs, tvs to watch sports. Wings and a fantastic sandwhich menu. I m having the humpback roll grilled bison ,waffle fries, homemade pickles. I wish I found this place when I was drinking lol. Nevertheless Saratoga and pineapple juice serves me well

Near Seaton Hall College in the village of South Orange. The path station is right here and yes, there is parking and many other stores and restaurants near bye.

A neighborhood pub feel with quirky old fashioned decor. Bar up front and sit down seating in back (suitable for families). An extensive food and drink/beer menu a bit on the pricey side. $14 for 4 catfish fingers (no sides). $16 for a shrimp appetizer – only 4 shrimp but very delicious and accompanied by focoaccia and thin breaded fried onions with a hint of spice. Also tried a kahlua coldbrew with amaretto and rumd rink…tasty and mild. The staff is friendly and the service was quick (on a thur night). Bathrooms are clean and they have a jukebox that lets you buy songs from your phone. A fun, tasty choice to stop into.

We got the jägerschnitzel and the fish and chips, both were amazing. I always thought of this place as primarily a sports bar but I’m still dreaming of the food will be back soon!

Gaslight is a staple in the community. They offer a strong variety of consistently large and delicious lunches and dinners. The varied food menu has something for everyone and compliments their house brewed beers perfectly. If you’re not a beer person, they also offer a full liquor bar.
