Coming through town and stopped by here for our morning coffee before a day of travel! This place was so inviting and the coffee was excellent. The barista helped me create my order exactly as I like it. The blueberry lemon scone was super yummy too!

Back in my hometown over the 4th, and found some amazing changes to the downtown! The Gedney is a wonderful addition! Spent a couple of hours chatting with my friend and enjoyed a great Americano. I’m so impressed with the renovation to this building, the atmosphere, coffee, and the staff! I have to eat gluten-free so I didn’t try any of their bakery items, but they looked delicious! Please take time to stop into this cute coffee shop!

I’m writing this review to help you be successful. I support small businesses and want you to know what my experience was so you can work on improving. In the service business as I’m sure you are aware, you have one chance to make an impression on a customer coming in for the first time. This is your make or break moment to create an exceptional first impression and a remarkable lasting impression. I’m sorry to say that I did not get exceptional or remarkable, nor even a good first and last impression. I did not get a warm, fuzzy feeling of being welcomed in, I wasn’t greeted with a smile, little eye contact once I got to the counter, my quiche wasn’t warmed up, and not even a sincere thank you (it appeared to require effort to say thank you) after picking up my coffee from the person who made it. I had to find parking to get into the store, and once I got in there I was very underwhelmed with the service. The space is welcoming, but the service is not. Please use this feedback as a gift, not as criticism…I appreciate the hard work and effort that goes into making this coffee shop successful! (I was there on a recent (within a couple weeks) Friday morning if that is helpful.)

Fantastic baked goods in a cute downtown! I love that they always have my staples like the cheddar bacon scones and blueberry muffins, but they also mix it up with the Brown Cinnamon Sugar strudels (they are to die for). I always take a peek at their website to see what they have in stock or new that day. You can usually find street parking or there is a lot of parking at the back of the building.

Stopped in on my walk to try it out and the prices were great. The shortbread cookies were adorable and amazing. The kids loved them and what a great price to put a smile on all of our faces. Best coffee in town!! Friendly service and a comfy cozy place with lots of neat things. A new part of this little town for us to love! Great job!

I highly recommend Gedney Bakery! We got a sourdough loaf and a cinnamon roll. The sourdough was warm and beautiful! We didn’t even wait to get home to dig into it. The cinnamon roll had a wonderful cream cheese frosting and was a perfect size to share. We loved sitting in their cute cafe enjoying our treats.

I love a good espresso and an Americano. We tried both and a mocha with a cinnamon roll and a pain au chocolat. Coffee in real cups does matter. Sitting to enjoy your coffee is a must. Anyone can toss coffee in a to-go cup. This is an experience. Take the time to go and enjoy.

This space was beautiful! The drinks were better than we make at home, and those are my favorites. The scones were the best I’ve ever had. Not too dry, not too crumbly. Perfect! We bought a loaf of Italian bread and made garlic bread with it. *chef’s kiss*
I can’t wait to be able to go back!
