Love a good indian me and the misses so we was going in with a seasoned pallet and we was not disappointed.
Staff were lovely,polite and friendly.
Would highly recommend it to anyone even if you dont like Indian this place will change your mind.

My eldest son brought me here for my birthday! And what a beautiful calm exquisite & sophisticated atmosphere it was here. My family made beautiful memories topped with great service & wonderful food we all enjoyed. Absolutely recommend this place for an unforgettable family night out, with food & beautiful blue atmospheric scene wrapped with attentive service! Visited yesterday as a table of 5, we had a table booked for 7pm, on arrival they had given our table away. Eventually sat down, ordered food and then starters came, food missing from the mix platters. We then waited over an hour for our mains and the asked where the food was, they said it would be 10 minutes, but then didn’t arrive for another 20 minutes. We gave up at this point and advised them that we don’t want our mains and just to settle what we’ve eaten and drank. Understandably the restaurant were angry and disappointed however they were rude and didn’t once apologise for the service we had received. Would not recommend to go here.

Firstly got some poppadoms come with a hair on,
1 hour later brought out some onion barji which was asked for with the main. Thinking the main was coming 10 mins later i took them to the waiter to say they are going to be cold by the time the meal come.
Another 25mins goes by the main comes again hairs in the rice
I wouldnt go back service isnt great, while sat waiting the waiter came to clean a table next to us and was just flicking food onto the seatsv with the cloth and didn’t even clean it properly buts of rice left on it when he had finished.
I don’t like leaving bad reveiws but i also don’t like when people are paying for a service for it to be of a poor stabdard.

Its OK. Food was pretty fast after ordering, to me that feels like a slight concern, as the food might all be pre made and warmed up? I’m not an expert so not sure. Atmosphere was good, it was pricey for what it is. A set menu would be nice. Would I return? possibly, but not in the near future i’m afraid.

Me my wife and son visited for the first time on Saturday and the first time we had Indian food, we where greated with a smile from all staff, the atmosphere was fantastic, shown to are table with menu’s gave are orders the food was to die for larger abit pricey,your staff are a credit to youse, definitely will be coming back v soon. Nestled quietly in the middle of rainhill shopping square, the blue mango restaurant stands apart from the closed shops and the empty spaces.
It is hiding in plain sight, a delight to taste, and at a reasonable price.
We stayed for a Monday night meal, with the restaurant having plenty of space at 7pm.
The decor is clean and styled nicely, the staff well majored, respectful and pleasant.
Our drinks order was taken promptly and tasted great when they arrived.
I had an old fashioned cocktail, and a beer. The wife enjoyed a pina colada and a lager with lime. Both very tasty, both great measures.
For starters… Poppadoms and mixed kebab, then a mix of 2 mains. dansak and dupiaza with a side of pilau rice and Peshawar naan.
The food was fantastic.
A definite ‘on par’ best Indian meal in the area. Even compared to the excellent flavours of “cottage Warrington”. Having enjoyed many with the area, it goes without saying this is our new Local Indian! Excellent work . We will be back

THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED … A FAWLY TOWERS EXPERIENCE!!!!
Christmas Day Dinner 2025 – Shocking service, Miserly minute portions, Missing meal, AND a rip off at 65 pounds per person (which my elderly 82 year old mother had paid for!!!).
Highlights included ….
– One cut up nan bread to share between 6 people.
– Tiny main meal portions (plenty of souce tho to disguise the lack of meat!!!!).
– Completley forgotton to bring main meals, so repeatedly reminded.
– When mains eventually arrived, one meal missing.
– Absolutely no offer of basic condiments inc popodoms etc.
– When desserts arrived, all plonked on the end of the table, then the waiter walked off!
– 3 Chocolate fudge cakes (one being a quartrer the size of the other two).
SIMPLY SHOCKING!!!!!

I was visiting the area and popped in to grab some food to takeaway, after it being recommended in a hair salon down the road. What lovely staff, what speedy service and what utterly delicious food. Highly recommended!
