the family tried multiple different sandwiches, although they had fantastic taste they were lacking enough meat, the Parma had only 1 piece of meat. Most Italian deli’s I have visited pile on the meats, the artichoke salad and bruschetta was good.

We placed a large take out order Sunday (02/28) afternoon, mostly because we wanted to try a little of everything and it all sounded delicious. It was our first time ordering from Russo’s, I can tell you right now we will be repeat customers. Everything was absolutely perfect and soooo good! I will highly recommend them to everyone! Thank you for a wonderful Sunday treat!

Excellent food! Nice looking place. We got take out on their opening day. There was a bit of a delay, but between all the orders and them still getting into the groove of there place. I plan on coming back to try them in a week or so, and not during the dinner rush!
Hoping they are a bit more organized and efficient. Gonna have to try their pasta next time too!
Update: Gave them a second go for lunch. Still kinda busy, but not like the first time. I got the classico and it was really good!
We also got a couple Italianos which were just as good. This weekend we may try out their pasta and salads for dinner.

The atmosphere at Russo’s Italian Deli is fantastic! The whole menu looks delicious, but I especially love the focaccia delight, and I’m a big fan of their vodka sauce. I can definitely see myself coming here regularly!!

This is an authentic Italian deli! Not your average processed Olive Garden pasta! The sandwiches we had were delicious!!! The pesto was fresh, and the pastas were great! Will definitely be coming back!

Finally an Italian deli with real bread and real Italian lunch meat. We had a clasico sub with added prosciutto it was very authentic, and an Italian beef that was very good nice flavor. Ordered cannolis also they were fantastic. Next we will try their red sauce and vodka sauce. Looking forward to the next time I don’t think they will disappoint.

Unfortunately, this place used to be a unique, authentic Italian place with great sandwiches. It has been purchased, apparently by Larry’s Diner and has been turned into an ordinary restaurant. Good Italian bread has been replaced by cheap food service product, romaine lettuce replaced with cheap shredded iceberg, in short they have made a high quality restaurant an overpriced ordinary restaurant. Will not be back.

I wanted to love this place but I don’t. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and would give them 5 stars but the food mediocre at best. Had the Parma sandwich and it was ok nothing really special. The meat was lacking and cheese good. Ordered the lasagna and was having it for dinner but decided to taste it when I got home. First it wasn’t very warm and the sauce tasted like it was burnt. Didn’t like color. It looked like it had been there a while. Salad was ok. Oh I forgot to mention air conditioning wasn’t working in main table area but by the counter it seemed cooler also the outside is nice with a few tables but faces Plainfield Road so I’m sure it gets noisy. I’m a firm believer of second chances so I will give it another try down the road. Will try something different though
