The kids love how cheesy their cheese pizzas are, you can even get the pizza without sauce for the extra cheese lover. I prefer the Pizza of the Day, frequently served with limes and great with their various sauces. The variety is both delicious and makes coming every week exciting. We also appreciate the fresh salads and gelato.
The environment is welcoming and friendly. They have tables outside, inside and seats at a bar, we come weekly and have always found space at a table. A very family friendly spot with high chairs and chocolate milk. The staff care about their customers, they notice if an order is taking a long time to come and try to compensate.
They are also my daughters first choice for her birthday party pizzas and both kids eat any leftovers in their lunch boxes.
I love this spot so much, I actually hope you don’t come, so l can keep it to myself.
To top it off, the ice cream flavors were very tasty and satisfying. I tried them all but stuck with the mango. It tastes just like a sweet mango!!
The pizza style mirrors the vegetarian options from the other local co-ops down to the delicious green sauce.
We’ve had nearly every type of pizza on the menu (potato is my favorite, corn is my wife’s favorite), but don’t sleep on the baked veggies. We often order in store, which has given us the opportunity to meet the team and get a few extras every once in a while.
After the rush this week, their team surprised us with a few extra slivers and a chocolate chip cook!
Wasn’t a huge fan of today’s pineapple option, but the pizza made it bearable. I did notice that this pizza was kind of chewy, and didn’t have the crispy bottom that it does at some of the other stores, but they’re still getting things ironed out I guess. As usual the people that work there were really kind, Aunt I really like the cozy Booth layout of this particular Montclair location. It also doesn’t offend me that there’s a gelato bar in this pizzeria.
Definitely glad that there’s a place to get a slice in Montclair, and the fact that it is next to a Pete’s coffee makes it even better. Coffee and pizza is the ultimate power lunch for summertime.
Also at two slices for under $10 and that includes a tip is a great deal these days.
Plenty of indoor seating, bathrooms, and a TV make for a perfect place for groups.
When the pizza finally came out, it was cold—not lukewarm, cold. As if that wasn’t bad enough, there was a HAIR baked into the crust. Not on top, in the crust. Totally revolting. When I brought it up, the staff barely apologized and offered no real solution. No refund. No replacement. Just indifference.
Honestly, I wouldn’t eat here again if it was the last pizza place on Earth. Save your time, your money, and your appetite—there are way better options in the East Bay that actually care about their food and customers. This place is a joke. One star is too generous.
This location is one of the newer locations, and they have things not found at the other locations – they have 3-4 single-ingredient pizzas (corn, potato, mushroom, off the top of my head), plus waffle fries (loaded), plus a full kitchen so they can make salads on the spot. This location in particular should get extra stars!
