Absolutely hands down some of my favorite food. We sat at the bar, Rachel was our bartender and waitress! She was phenomenal!!! She reocmmend the grilled cheese Birrias and the kimchi French fries with bulgogi beef, out of this world flavorful. Homemade strawberry margaritas, and the birrias Ramen was very very good! Go here, it will NOT disappoint!!!!!

If you are already within a block and need a quick lunch, this would be fine. However, I was surprised at how bland our meal was compared to the glowing reviews. It’s basically a very Americanized Mexican restaurant with some vaguely Korean flavors. The gochujang shrimp and al pastor tofu tacos were lacking flavor and texturally boring, and there wasn’t enough cilantro or onion to off set protein. Bland salsas. The birria was the most flavorful thing we had but extremely salty and oily. The kimchi fries were just fine. The servers were very kind. There is so much amazing food in Detroit so I would not recommend this or return.

My granddaughter and I went here for dinner before attending the Candle Light Hip Hop Concert. We enjoyed the Chorizo Mandu dumplings (really loved the dipping sauce) and 10 K-Town wings with the Sweet Gochuchang glaze as our appetizers. Both delicious. We both ordered the Milk Bread Birria Grilled Cheese which is my personal favorite. The Birria dipping sauce is quite tasty. Keep vowing to order something different but it’s so good! We both had to take half of our sandwiches home because we were so full. Our server was very nice and attentive, the staff here always are. We got here just shortly after they opened so there were only a few other people inside, and it was also the super cold below freezing Friday night. But we enjoyed every bit of it.

The people were really nice. I liked them. It’s a bit like a Korean flavored chipotle, and I thought it would be closer to actual Mexican food. Also, they gave me corn when I asked for no corn. If you like chipotle, this is definitely the place for you. It was also a lot of food for one person, you can definitely split one order for multiple meals. I got the bulogi? Beef bowl with some tortillas on the side. Sorry the picture is messy I mixed it up.

Amazing service and delicious unique food!
My boyfriend and I enjoyed it here and will definitely be back soon. As a vegetarian this is now one of my new favorite restaurants! The staff was very kind & helpful. The food came out so quick as well. 100/10!!!

My son called this a gentrification final boss restaurant. He isn’t wrong. Casual, hip, and OK food. But some of the flavor profiles were a little one dimensional–good, but not great. Also, my ramen came in a flimsy plastic takeout container. Maybe that was part of the gentrified chic? I would have preferred some hand made locally sourced pottery. Again, worth eating at if you are in the area and want to get a quick bite, but I wouldn’t go out of my way. Service was fast and friendly.

I tried Nuevo Seoul for the first time and it did not disappoint!
I ordered the lavender lemonade, elote, and the grilled cheese quesabirria. Honestly, it was way too much food for one sitting, but everything was delicious.

The consomé was flavorful (could’ve used a little more spice, but hey, we’re in Detroit so I get it). The grilled cheese quesabirria was massive, cheesy, and super filling and definitely worth sharing if you’re not too hungry. The elote was spot on and paired perfectly with the lavender lemonade, which was refreshing and unique.

Overall, a great spot with big portions and bold flavors. *I’m here for a conference at the convention center and it was a short walk. Make sure you look for the writing on the wall or you will miss it.

Kimchi Fries were good. Flavor and spice profile was decent.

However, my burrito was mediocre. Everything was so expensive for how subpar the quality and size was. I expected better for an $15 burrito. And the mandatory 20% gratuity was something I wasn’t expecting. I wouldn’t come here again.

Yummmm! Great for vegans and meat eaters alike. I got the Al Pastor tofu burrito bowl with grilled tofu. And my father split the birria grilled cheese with his partner. Service was fast and so friendly. Not too crowd and had fun music playing over the speakers. Highly recommend! And don’t miss the churro chips!

Great atmosphere. The restaurant is very clean and well organized. Staff is very friendly and well knowledge of their foods and gave us a recommendation based on our preference. Fried kimuchi was our favorite. I had a burrito and it was great too. Pricing is very reasonable. I would definitely back there again and try different food.
