Went to the McDonald’s at Porters Neck so we could get the Grinch socks on December 5th and they were out of stock. Disappointed that they did not have enough stock to last more than 3 days. Decided to go ahead and eat since we were there, and here is where the review really starts. You would think that since you have to order your food at a kiosk that the service would be better. So sorry the girl with the big fluffy false eyelashes had to come to work today. She walked up slid the tray of food on the table, turned and walked away. No smile, no your welcome when we said thank you, didn’t take the table number tent, just left it on the table and walked away. And this was after waiting like 20 minutes to get the food. Fry cooker beeped the whole time, which explains why the fries were overcooked. Our daughter went and ordered an Oreo McFlurry and instead of mixing the Oreo into the ice cream, they just dumped it on top. The Apple pie box needs to be changed to Caution Cold, because the pies were actually cool. We would have take them back, but we figured that since we asked for double fries in place of apple slices in the happy meals that we must have pissed off the girl with the fluffy eyelashes. Probably our last time coming to this one.
Customer service training for this crew would be an asset to the store

This is one of the best McDonald’s that I have been to! Fast service friendly employees and Manager. Food is always hot and fresh. Restaurant is very clean. Employees are very neat and clean looking. I am not afraid to eat the food from here but I refuse to eat at some other McDonald’s and other fast food restaurants because of the caliber and neatness of employees at some of the other fast food restaurants!

Rude staff. Non verbal order taker, and the alarm on some item being finished (I assume) went off the entire time we were there. Dirty tables. Food was awful, cold fries. Miniscule spicy chicken in the sandwich. McDonald’s has reduced the size of EVERYTHING. Even the soda tasted watered down and flat and I don’t add ice. We won’t be back.

Every McDonalds is getting to be the same. They are either missing an item or they can’t get the order right. I dont go alot but my special needs daughter li9ves your burgers. Today we came in and asked for 6 plain double cheeseburger. They repeated it 3 times and left 3 burgers out the bag. The company as whole needs to tighten up.

Had lunch at this location on 2-2-2026. Ordered a Big Mac and large Fries. Aside from the fact that McD’s is obviously shrinking the Big Mac, the was the worse Big Mac I think I’ve ever had. The so-called Big Mac was lukewarm with hardly no lettuce and the fries were cold and soggy. I returned the fries for new ones. Hampstead McD location is better.

Food is usually good, inside the store is clean on the occasions I go inside. The caramel iced coffees are a coin flip: either perfect or watered down. Sometimes they forget my fries, which now cost too much to forget.

The girl who took my order was really sweet and funny.
Majority of the time this mcdonalds messes up my orders, but they’re always slammed packed, so it happens. They always fix it. Its fast food lol.

On Sunday Aug 17th, I went through the drive thru gave my rewards number and then TRIED to give my order, I don’t know if she was having problems with her headset or whatever but after trying to give my order three times I was practically yelling to make my order and so was speaking slowly so they could get my order. The person taking the drive thru orders was RUDE! You don’t have to talk like that to me! (Apparently I do because you didn’t hear me the first three times) So I said forget it and drove off (went to Dunkin Donuts). Then saw $2.56 charge pending on my card. Gave it a couple days to drop off pending and it CLEARED!! So I called and spoke to a manager there did not get her name, now I wish I did because she was even more RUDE than the person in drive thru. Kept asking me what happened and then cutting me off when I tried to tell her what happened. Told me she is tired of people calling and putting the them down. I told her maybe $2.56 isn’t a lot for her but I am not one that can afford to just give money away.
I have stopped at this McDonald’s SEVERAL times because it is on my way to work. But I can tell you right now I will NEVER stop there again.
If I could give no stars I would but to give a review you have to.
Update…. I did go in an get my money back but I should not have had to.

We ordered coffee and one 1 chicken meal and one separate chicken sandwich and our order was messed up. The clerk gruffly told us we didn’t order coffee and we ended up with two meals. The sandwiches were overdone and tasteless. Never go here again

This establishment serves raw burgers. When I called, the manager was extremely disrespectful as if I was lying. She told me that I needed to bring the burger back in as proof. When I return to the location with the burger, I asked the manager who was ServSafe and she said the only individuals ServSafe inside the location is the Store Manager.
I asked her why they are not temping foods or checking the product before serving? The store manager responded with “we do not temp our food before serving”. Store manager had me fill out an incident report following with “we will need you to call us if you get sick so we can pass this form off to our insurance company”. This manager has zero concerns for food safety or customers well being. I have plenty of recorded video and pictures as documentation that I have emailed off to corporate.
