After a long flight and finally arrived in Napa, we were in for a light dinner. We ordered the Grazing Board, Chicken and Tomato Basil Empanadas and the Garden Salad. Oh, my! We were so happy and enjoyed every bite. The Empanadas were amazing!!! The Grazing Board was so full of all the wonderful flavors we love. So good!! As salads go, most are good. This garden salad was so fresh and tasty. The dressing was so delicious! Paired with an amazing Robert Mondavi Cabernet, our evening was so remarkable. Our server, Alicia was terrific!

Hands down simply a very good restaurant. Food was delicious, beer was great. Ambiente inside is gorgeous. Can imagine it’s eben better in the summer outside. Service is very nice too. And you need to get dessert, even if you think you’re full!

Unfortunately, we did not have a good meal at this restaurant. The vibe and look of the place is great. We also had a really wonderful server. The food is just not worth it. I had a French omelet that was not throughly cooked and was very wet. We also were given cold coffee and had to wait a very long time for water. We also were not checked up on. They were probably very busy, but it was not an enjoyable meal.

My coworker and I stopped by for breakfast before heading to the airport. We had the outdoor dining area to ourselves which was surprising because it was so beautiful and serene. Service was great and speedy. All the food was good but my favorite dish was the poached apple toast!! I mean wow! So glad we got it to share. Will be coming back for sure if I’m ever in the area again.

Don’t get me wrong, this place has great potential… And staff is great.. Just not enough of them to go around. Always one person taking orders and making drinks. They are friendly and so the best they can but takes way to long to get a coctail or a quick coffee if there’s any line whatsoever.

The wine and the atmosphere were great. The food was disappointing. We had the grazing board which was stale, bland, and complete with a moldy strawberry. The Brussel sprouts were passable, but room temperature, untrimmed, and woody.

My soul felt deeply nourished and at peace while sipping my coffee and eating my breakfast, taking in the picturesque landscape, watching the Nappa river flowing behind the trees, listening to the birds competing with each other to sing their best songs and relishing the ambiance and serenity of the early morning air. This was my slice of heaven.
