Our Restaurant Is A Collective Of Amazing People Striving To Build Delightful Italian Cuisine.Authentic pizza is a very simple dish. But eating pizza in Naples, Italy, is a sublime experience. The crust is made from special, finely milled flour, active yeast and pristine water that bakes up tender and light. The tomato sauce is made from San Marzano tomatoes (only grown around Italyʼs Mount Vesuvius), fresh garlic and extra virgin olive oil; it is redolent with the flavors of southern Italy. The buffalo mozzarella is made from the milk of water buffalos and adds a unique, savory tang. Itala pizza imports San Marzano tomatoes, artisanal buffalo mozzarella and ʻ00ʼ flour from Italy weekly. We even had our wood-fired ovens custom made in Napl

Absolutely incredible taste and flavor!
We’ve had this pizza for years even before they moved from Buford. You can’t go wrong if you are looking for authentic Italian pizza.

Overrated. Expensive. Plastic plates.
Bad seating.
Same concept as Antico Pizza Napoletana.

For the price one side of the pizza was fully burnt. The other side of the pizza had undercooked crust.
The pizza had burnt flour underneath in every single bite. It was disgusting.
Pizza was extremely sloppy. Had to eat it with a fork after rolling it up.

They have benches. Not tables and chairs.
You feel like you are dining at a public park.
No decent seating, silverware or cutlery.

The Red chillies were $3.
Antico has this for free.
Antico has Free Red Chillies, Red Chilly paste, garlic, parmesan and other condiments. All free.

The taste was good. But half our pizza was burnt and the other half had undercooked crust.

The passionfruit gelato was excellent!

The place is overrated for the cheap ambience and dining experience, needless to say they need to pay attention to the pizza before serving it for the price.

Outstanding Neapolitan pizza, amazing service, and beer on tap!

I should’ve gone here a long time ago. Itala Pizza has been open for about 3½ years, and I finally stopped in — now I regret waiting this long! This place has easily become my new favorite Neapolitan pizza spot in North Georgia.

The first thing you notice when you walk in is the space — plenty of room, large tables, and a layout perfect for families and groups. I even saw another table celebrating a birthday and grabbing gelato afterward. The service is fantastic, everyone’s friendly, and the whole place runs super efficiently.

They’ve got two wood-fired ovens, which means pizzas come out fast — mine was ready in about 5 minutes even though it was busy. The Sorrento pizza (their pepperoni) was amazing: crispy, flavorful, not greasy, and that dough… just perfect. The crust had the right chew, and the pizza was served on a sturdy tray that keeps it from sliding around.

Prices are about $20–$25 per pizza, one size (roughly 15–16”), great for two people. I even had leftovers, and the pizza still tasted great cold later.

The pistachio cannoli was fantastic — perfectly fried, light, and filled just right.

They’ve got a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine (Coke Zero for me ), a cooler with Italian drinks, beer on tap, and — my favorite touch — a big metal container by the register with hot extra pizza sauce for dipping. It’s those small details that make the experience special.

Parking was easy, even though the plaza is busy. There’s plenty of overflow parking across the way if it’s packed during peak hours.

All in all, amazing food, great people, fast service, and some of the best authentic Neapolitan pizza around. Highly recommend checking this place out — you’ll be glad you did!

If you’re looking for an authentic Italian dining experience, this restaurant is a great place to check out. The atmosphere inside is warm, inviting, and very clean perfect for a casual night out or a family dinner. The moment you walk in, you can tell they care about quality and creating a welcoming environment.

The highlight here is definitely the pizza. The flavors are rich and authentic, with a great variety of options to choose from. Whether you’re into classic Margherita, pepperoni, or something more gourmet, you’ll likely find something you love. Their desserts are also worth a try delicious and beautifully presented. You can tell everything is made with fresh ingredients and attention to detail.

That said, there are a few things to keep in mind, especially if you’re dining with kids. The restaurant only offers one size of pizza, and they don’t allow half-and-half combinations. This can be a bit limiting, especially for families where one child may only want a simple cheese pizza while others want different toppings. Without the option to customize or order a smaller portion, you may end up with more food than you need, which feels wasteful and less budget-friendly.

It would be great if they considered adding more flexibility in this area perhaps by offering a kids-size pizza or allowing half-and-half toppings, especially since their pizza is really good and more people would enjoy it with a little more customization.

Overall, it’s a solid choice for authentic Italian food with a cozy atmosphere and great flavors. Just be prepared for a one-size-fits-all pizza policy. Still, definitely worth a visit!

Itala Pizza is such a gem. It’s a super casual spot with long communal tables and bench seating, which gives it a fun, relaxed atmosphere. The menu has a great selection of pizzas and drinks, and everything we tried was fantastic.

We ordered the Margherita and a meat‑combo style pizza (can’t remember the exact name), and both were absolutely delicious. The dough was perfectly chewy, the flavors were spot‑on, and you can tell they really care about the quality of their ingredients.

We ordered to go and were so disappointed with the pizza. We ordered a margarita pizza. It had 4 pieces of basil and maybe 3 pieces of mozzarella cheese. It was very soggy which this kind of pizza should not be. The caprese salad was delicious. The flavor of pizza was decent, if it had not been undercooked with no toppings. I’m actually very bummed to be leaving this but i hope it helps them understand that for the price of the pizza, they need to be better. Thanks

One of the ladies working there suggested her homemade tiramisu, and omg it was amazing. Everyone was very nice and attentive, and the pizza was, of course, spectacular.

Cleanliness comes first for me, and this place didn’t disappoint. It looked and smelled clean, even the bathroom.

Next, they don’t sell pizza by the slice, but their personal pan was both enough and not too much food. 30 minutes later, and I don’t feel like I ate too much or I’m bogged down, but I’m definitely full.

The pizza itself was very fresh, of course, and the ingredients tasted rich. Very delicious. I’ll be back for more.

It looks like a family operation, another reason to come back and support their business.

Was hoping this place would be a closer alternative to Antico at Avalon. Ordered the Leonardo for takeout since it was the closest to what we usually get at Antico. The pizza was pretty disappointing. The cheese, sauce, and toppings were almost nonexistent. With the thin crust, it was like eating a cracker. When we did get to a bite that had some substance, it tasted great. If they weren’t so stingy with their ingredients I’d give them another try. Until then, I’ll make the drive to Antico.
