I’ve been meaning to come to the FAMOUS Lorain American Slovak Club fish fry for a while and finally made it for lunch recently. I had the perch with sides of coleslaw and of cabbage and noodles, washed down with a can of PBR. Service was efficient, and regulars got a warm greeting and offered the usual, whatever that was. Lots of folks ordering the clam chowder, maybe I’ll try that next time.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this place. The food and service was incredible. I was craving cabbage and noodles and oh boy did they deliver! I got the large size and the amount for the cost – you can’t beat it! The waitresses were awesome and so kind. 10/10 will be back again!

Called to place an order for pickup! They said they don’t take orders over the phone! I said ok and then went up to place an order! When I went in to place the order, another gentleman came up and said his mom placed an order for pickup up! So…… hmmmmm mind is baffled! If you’re going to do it for one then do it for all! Talked to the lady in charge! She went and talked to the lady at the cash register then ran me down in the parking lot to tell me he reason why the guy was picking up because there was something wrong with the order! On my way home I remembered that they have signs up saying check your order before you leave! So .hmmmmmm! Still not abiding by what they said or by the signs they put out!
