Visited from out of State choosing this sandwich restaurant based on past Google reviews and the classic sandwich selections available. We ordered the BLT A and a Club Sandwich to go. Both were good and hearty. Each was $14.99. However there was a bit of a wait to get our orders, nearly 18 minutes. The restaurant inside was very clean, laid back and the staff were friendly. There are booths available and we were surprised by the abundance of seating is open. We would recommend this place over other local sandwich spots in Paducah.

Today i ordered 2 ceaser salads without meat when they first opened at 10:30 am, and they gave me old brown lettuce in both salads so when i called the nice young man that was the manager today told me he would replace them but he was about to leave so he put it in the system and i drove 45 mins back to paducah ky got new salads and they gave me old brown salads again. So i called the manager on duty at 6:17pm today to let them know and the women manager got on the phone and was very rude she was yelling at me and accused me of yelling at her when i was very calm trying to explain the situation to her, Then she proceeded to say that she made the salads so when i asked her is it protocall to give people old salad she got very mad and refused to give me her name so i could report her she then hung up on me and blocked my number so now i’m forced to do this review and hope someone will reach out to me and no i will ever eat there again b/c it’s been to many incidents with my food. And i will be contacting corporate in the morning

I love McAlisters and I order the same thing every single time and this is the first time it’s ever looked like this. Sandwich was soggy and lettuce was old as well.

I placed an online order for Chicken Cesar wrap, tomato cucumber salad (not good) and potato with butter, sour cream, peppers and green onions. When I picked up my first order my husband wanted an additional potato with roast beef. I placed that ordered when I entered the restaurant and 35 minutes later it was ready. I counted at least 5 people in the kitchen and two people behind the counter. There were NO large orders before mine What took so long???. Opening up my potato it looked like it had part of the potato’s inside was missing and the sides were dried out-possible leftover from day before. I’m taking it back tomorrow and asking them to replace it. I am so disappointed by the whole experience-my cost was $27.06 . Will not be returning.
Update: took potato back to replace it with a fresh one. Manager was very nice and explained that at the time I ordered that they had run out of potatoes and were in the process of cooking more. Had the cashier told me that I would have ordered something different. Manager offered a cookie but I was happy for her to just replace my order with a fresh potato. Just the simple fact that the manager explained the situation and was honest about it made a big difference to me.

The inspection was 98/99, but I thought the bathroom could be cleaner. We waited a solid 5 minutes for service at the counter with no one in front of us. The food was okay. Just okay. Someone came by and asked how we were doing, we said okay.

These sandwiches are good, a little pricey but good. The only issue I have is the customer service. Everytime we go the register ladies are always mad, like they don’t want to be their and kinda rude. They need to be a little more welcoming.

When we are traveling cross country get into an area where McAlister’s are available. We love to stop and eat. We especially love the salads. Being Northerners we’re happy that they have unsweetened iced tea. This place is clean.

After 49 minutes still no food. Told twice our order was up next. We had enough an asked for money back ,that took 6 minutes. Insincerity offered 2 free meals. Too little too late. Will never be back.

Do not come on Sunday. Everyone from a 3 county radius shows up. Likely the Sunday post-church-service crowd. Be prepared for an hour wait for food. Food is great though. Staff is friendly but not equipped for the rush.
