The chicken tender platter was decent, but not amazing or exceptional. The breading was a tad soft and soggy. The chicken seemed to be breaded, fried, then tossed in a spices mixture which had large pieces of grainy spices in it – most notably salt, with a sweet and savory blend of spices. No honey mustard was provided, as is customary with chicken tenders – instead it was a creamy almost Thousand Island-like sauce. I definitely prefer Chili’s chicken crispers over this.

The mac & cheese was bottom of the barrel – Bland, lacking flavor, slightly bitter and slightly gritty. Just not what you’d expect from a quality chain like Glory Days …

My visit to Glory Days Restaurant in Gainesville, Virginia, was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we walked in, the staff welcomed us with incredible warmth, treating us like VIPs as first-time customers. They even surprised us with a complimentary appetizer of warm, perfectly baked pretzels paired with their mouthwatering boneless wings and three signature sauces—Glory Sauce, beer cheese sauce, and another fantastic dip that set the tone for an unforgettable meal.
We kicked things off with the mac n cheese bites and buffalo chicken dip, both of which were bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The star of the show for me was the Glory Burger—topped with a perfectly cooked egg, it was juicy, flavorful, and hands-down one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The mild boneless wings were a hit, with just the right amount of kick, and the fried fish was crispy, fresh, and cooked to perfection. Every dish we tried was superb, showcasing the kitchen’s talent and attention to detail.
The atmosphere was lively yet cozy, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. The team at Glory Days clearly takes pride in delivering an exceptional dining experience. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this spot is a must-visit for delicious food, great vibes, and top-notch hospitality. We’ll be back soon!

The food is very good. We always ask for the same server (Colleen) and usually go on a day that she is working. Colleen is a wonderful server and gets to know her customers. She remembers her customers and their quirky food preferences! The atmosphere is kind of noisy, but it’s a sports bar. We expect that! The menu changes seasonally, so if you see something you would like to try, don’t wait! It may be gone before you know it.

the owner and servers are very sweet, lovely people from the town. They will check on you, refill water, and recommend good, delicious food for you.
Crab dip pretzel is absolutely delicious, very creamy, very cheesy, lots of crab, generous portion.
The traditional wings are also good, crispy, meaty, had really strong char grill-smoking flavor on it.
Also had the boneless wings, big chuck, very soft, juicy, not dry at all.
The fish fry is also great, you got a huge and thick fillet, taste fresh and juicy. The batter is thin and crispy.
Very nice place in Gainesville, will definitely back in the future.

It is a chain restaurant/Sports bar but the food was better than most places like that that I have been to. Service was very good. Place was clean and not loud. I would go back again easily.

Fried fish comes with 2 sides. On Friday’s only $ 12.99. Great deal. I always get broccoli and cole slaw. Both are excellent.

They have the best fried fish & cole slaw. I got a side house salad instead of the fries. All was prepared excellent. It was delicious!I had the best server Daveon. He kept coming back asking me if I needed a refill or anything. Super nice!! I highly recommend Glory Days Grill. They had good tunes playing many genres of music. They had multiple TV’s with various sporting events playing.

Love a good sports bar. Buffalo chicken dip was awesome. Chicken cheese steak was ok, presentation was great. Felt the service was slow. Saw the ‘Coach’ more than our waitress, and this was before the Commanders game started.

Really low key atmosphere with wings that compete with B-Dubs. They are a little bigger, have a better crisp, and that Glory Sauce is amazing. Very good sides and chili too. The waiter was a bit slow, but nice, and did a good job with a little nudging along. He allowed me to order a side of the crispy onion straws that normally only come on top of one of their burgers, so extra points there.

A great neighborhood spot that has local beers on tap, good food, and low lighting for a relaxed vibe.
