The attention given to our group was amazing! We ordered a little bit of everything from the pizza to the the etouffee and jambalaya to the hamburgers to the key lime dessert! Chicken wings and artichoke dip as well. Everything was well done and the cocktails were amazing. The view from the restaurant was so beautifully soothing. Glad to see them up and go in again and look forward to visiting soon.

The indoor and outdoor space here is really quite stunning.

A few of us stopped in late afternoon a couple of days ago and were greeted by an indifferent host who seemed confused as to where to seat us (they weren’t at all busy and there were plenty of places to sit). One of the wait staff finally came over and got us seated.

What was really confusing is that none of the handful of draft beers they had were their beers. ?? That’s kind of why we stopped by a new brewery that we had never been to before. To try their beer. Just means we left way sooner than we would have otherwise.

Since we were not sticking around for more not-their-beer, we took off before even bothering to look at the menu.

Based on other reviews that I read, most people seem to really love this place. Not really sure what was going on the other day.

Good food, good local beer, friendly service. Takes a little while to get served, but food was piping hot and freaking DELICIOUS! I’ll be back many times to work my way through their menu. Plus good live music tonight!

Hey to the last reviewer, yes please give BWB another chance. This business has been through all the normal highs and lows of a small biz, then add Covid, a complete destruction by flooding in 2022, just came back better than ever and BAM, Hurricane Helene in 2024. They’ve been shut down for over a year!
We were so relieved to see they’d reopened, love the new look of the room with the cool tree in the middle.
We like the guest taps, although will look forward to some of the Bearwaters best sellers back on the menu once the first kegs roll out from brewing partner Highland Brewing in early ‘26. The staff is all new and only back open for a few weeks now, so hiccups in service are expected. But so far we’ve enjoyed and appreciated the ones we’ve met and found service to be really good.
The food is a great surprise, one of the best chicken soups I’ve ever had, and excellent personal pizzas. Our friend had the elk/bison burger and said it was delicious. It’s definitely more elevated bar food than most of the other similar spots in the area.
This is such a great neighborhood spot, we should all stop by and show how much we appreciate their perseverance and dedication to providing Canton with such a wonderful locals bar.
PS the new bar has a full
liquor license so that doesn’t hurt either!!!

This was our first time there since the flood. The Atmosphere was nice, however the door being open and the fans going, made it a little cool. The table we were seated at was so unstable that one could not sit a drink on it, without spilling it. So I fixed it myself. The waitress we had, or didn’t have was never around, and we waited at least 15 minutes before she came and another 15 minutes for our drink order. The wings I ordered were not good, and the skin was like rubber. I left half the order. My wife’s burger was OK though. I do wish them the best, However we will not be back. Sad! I loved coming down there.

Had a company Christmas Party here last night and everything was incredible. We enjoyed several pizzas, beers and mixed drinks. Great place and so deserving of local support after Helene! Great service and the food was amazing! Will be back many times!

If your near the area this is the spot to go for craft brews. They have a large inviting outdoor patio area and indoor taproom with multiple levels with plenty of seating options right on the river. They’ve got food options for those who need to grab something to eat and there brews are pretty decent. It was super kid and dog friendly and the staff were all attentive and friendly.

Awesome brewery! Huge taproom with tons of seating inside and a great patio space for outdoor seats too. It’s right on the river so great views as well. Big draft list (they do flights) and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Kitchen inside as well for a bite while you enjoy the beer.

3.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Brews and food by the river, yes please. We were pleasantly surprised to find this brewery. The beer was good, the food was satisfactory. Our only complaint was that it took about 40 minutes from the time we ordered the food for it to arrive. The burger was way over cooked and the wrap had soggy lettuce but it was still edible.

BWB has finally opened up after Helene and they just can’t help screwing the pooch… They have SUCH a prime location and still can’t seem to get their act together…

We came in and, not knowing the new protocol, we stood at the bar to order a beer (that used to be the only way you could order anything and apparently NO ONE is there to make sure patrons know the new norm…) We waited at least 10 minutes for the bartenders to take our beer order. They greeted us after about 3-4 mins, then continued to chat, while one girl made drinks and the other just kept chatting to her…

After we were successful in ordering beers. We were confused about where to sit, bc again, no one was at the hostess station to tell us the new protocol. So we waited, again…for about 5 minutes for the hostess to come out from the back of house. We were told by the hostess that no orders from the chef’s menu were permissible bc they “only have two ‘chefs’ and they are tired”, so it was only the bar menu that was available…

After we finally got sat, we met our delightful waitress, Sam. She was amazing but despite our putting in our beer orders with her, it was taking 25 minutes to get our beers… she came and told us that there was a wifi issue, which prevents her from ordering beers from upstairs??? And then some nonsense about the keg having to be changed and then bled for “a long time”. (But we had already visibly witnessed the bartenders not caring about filling orders…)

At this point, we were frustrated with the compounding wait times, so we didn’t even look at the menu, knowing we couldn’t order off the whole menu.

We left and went to Three Compas.

We’ll give BWB one more chance before we write them off completely.
