Sour cream enchiladas had good flavor, but the shredded chicken inside was very tough and basically had to deconstruct them to eat. Rice and beans are very good. Would not recommend the margarita, it was so sweet it tasted like I was drinking coolaid or something. I pass through Lampasas often but probably won’t come back unfortunately.

The food, service and drinks are all delicious! Definitely stopping here on all our future trips through Lampasas, as we always stop for gas and food in Lampasas.
The restrooms are single person, large enough to accommodate a wheelchair or rollator. Steel doors with turn lock, very secure.

Always have delicious food, but the breakfast burritos (sausage, egg, and cheese) are delicious. They are very filling and even better with roja/verde dipping sauce.

Did this place change owners? We dined in. There was just a few people and we waited an hour to get our order. I ordered gorditas and got tostadas. And my husband ordered ceviche and got cut up shrimp with a bunch of diced up tomatoes and onions and Chile. He had to look for the shrimp too. It was bad.

We stopped in for lunch after reading all the great reviews. Never again. Our service was horrible. Our waitress acted like she had better things to do. We had to ask twice to get our drink She didnt want to explain the dishes on the menu The tamales were dry and bland My fajita was swimming in oil (The picture doesnt really show it I wish I’d have thought to snap a photo of the puddle of oil on my plate) Husband’s was also oily and bland No real flavor The boys had tacos The shell was completely filled with meat but bland We had to order the tomatoes lettuce and cheese because they weren’t included When we asked our waitress, because she had told us LTC all came on the taco, she said “I guess I was wrong” She charged us for 3 taco kids meals even though we only ordered two then bragged she removed it from our ticket Of course you did. We didnt order three and we didnt receive three, why would we pay for three? Our third son had the chicken strips They came from a bag and were over cooked and his fries were cold and gross We couldnt get refills She didnt return to our table at all and we finally had to call her over to get our bill When she rang us up she tried overcharging us by 1.02 and I had to correct her The decor was dusty and the whole place looked like it needed clean The cups were all chipped and busted up And our waitress made a big deal about getting us a straw

First time here. Atmosphere is great. There is a bar connected we had enchiladas plate and carne gasada and guacamole made live.

We stopped here with the intention of having breakfast, but after we saw the menu we opted to have lunch. I had a Mexican combo plate and my husband had the carne asada plate. If possible, we like sitting in the bar area. The bartender was attentive as well as the staff. .
