This wonderful restaurant is in our neighborhood so we’ve been there often enough to enthusiastically recommend it! The food is tasty, portions are generous and it has good variety. For breakfast I tried the machaca which was as yummy as the chilaquiles I had tried before. For dinner, their chili stuffed with veggies was awesome. If you’re there for dinner, leave room for their flan cheesecake. I hadn’t ever heard of this combination but it’s so delicious it’s a new favorite and must-have ending to a good meal.

I visited this place for brunch after coming across it on Google Maps and decided to give it a try. We ordered the shrimp tacos, mahi mahi tacos, Eggs Benedict and hash browns. The shrimp tacos were outstanding, packed with flavor and easily the highlight of the meal. The picked cabbage in it tasted amazing. The ambience is cozy making it a comfortable spot for a relaxed brunch. I would definitely love to come back to try more of their Mexican dishes.

This place just opened up earlier this week, and we’re really glad they’ve taken up the old Arrowood space!
We got 3 entrees, and we were very impressed by how perfectly the meats were cooked (the pork ribs, chicken, and shrimp were all very tender). The entrees had great flavors, and were reasonably priced. The kids Chicken Strips were maybe some of the best fried chicken we’ve had. Definitely excited to try more of their menu!

Wow this place is amazing. Didn’t realize they were open but I’m so glad someone pointed it out.
I had the Carne Asada and my god it was bursting forth with flavor. It came with really delicious salsa and Jalapeños. Just loved the food. My wife got a pork dish that was taaaasty as well.
I heard some others talking about deserts and heard cheese cake flan. That had my curiosity going… so i ordered it. WOW. It was something else. So freaking good.
They have 14 taps and have a wide variety of beers and ciders, not to mention lots of cocktails. I partied too hard over the weekend to get cocktails but we saw some being made and they looked great.
Excellent service. Nice atmosphere.

I stopped in at Paqui, Modern Mexican, the new restaurant in the Arrowood Space on Sandy, and I am happy that I did. I had what may have been the best Ceviche in the last few years, so good! The service was friendly and on point, great eclectic selection, even the other guests were friendly and fun.

Quality ingredients and lots of flavor. The spicy margarita was one of my favorite cocktails in recent dining experiences, those ancho chiles make it unique and less aggressive than the traditional jalapeno. The ceviche with fish was so fresh and well portioned. I’m excited to see about the brunch menu!

Absolutely loved the oyster shooters!! So surprisingly delicious with the salsa negra. Came in for the happy hour $8 margaritas and stayed for the oysters, but would absolutely recommend this quiet neighborhood Mexican spot if you are looking for a great after-work drink or some food in NE. Super friendly staff and the server recommended the lamb birria so I’ll have to come back and try that soon 🙂

Been to this restaurant a few times now and have been very impressed each time! Fantastic Ceviche! Outstanding Lamb Birria. Yummy Margs (I ordered the ones without Mezcal)! Don’t let the store front turn you away (they barely got a sign up). This is a stellar addition to the neighborhood. We will be back! The facade and the atmosphere could be spiffened up a little, especially the outdoor patio.

Don’t want to miss this one! Our order: Taquitos with potato, stuffed poblano, and camarones a la diabla. Would definitely get all three again (enough for 2 people) and would ask for a second serving of the sauce that came with the taquitos. Usually the camarones dish is spicy at other places, but this came with mild spice and all the flavor. You can always ask them to make it hotter and if all else fails, use that second serving of sauce to spice it up! Must try this place at least once. I know I did and will be going back again. Those taquitos!
