Rafter G BBQ started out doing competition bbq in Arizona as a hobby. The owners increased their skills by practicing and selling out of their backyards. After a lot of prayers and multiple signs from the big man upstairs, they made the big investment and opened their first brick and mortar in 2024. Well seriously if I could give this place 10 Stars I absolutely would. We got a pound of the smoked turkey and a half a pound of the brisket. No sides. The smoked turkey was the best I’ve ever had in my entire life and the brisket was fall apart in your mouth. Perfect. We were just passing through but if I lived in this town I would be here at least once a week. It’s a drive-thru and the lady inside the drive-thru window was funny, generous, and kind.

BBQ joint right in the triangle (literally). A bit pricey to get a 2 meat plate and a slice of pecan pie but solid. The only 2 negatives that stuck out was the fatty brisket had a thick fat cap and the pie tasted like it sat in the fridge for a bit.
That being said, I’m getting the sandwich next time cause for some reason their BBQ sauce speaks to me. Fyi it’s a drive through so best find a parking space nearby to eat.

Wonderful quirky BBQ restaurant in the heart of Safford, AZ. We were looking for a place to get BBQ on Christmas Eve and happened on the Rafter G BBQ. Fantastic pluued pork sandwiches, good sides, reasonable price. Hard to access in a truck (strange little triangle location in the middle of town) but easy drive through in a car. If you like great BBQ and strange places, this is for you!

I flew in from Dallas so my expectations were very high. Texans take their bbq seriously. Rafter G BBQ is amazing!!! I had the sliced brisket sandwich. It was so tender and moist. I highly recommend them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I tried the brisket, pork and Turkey with the beans and the sauce was perfect. Not too hot. Not too spicy. For those afraid of heat. The seasonings were definitely on point or perfectly seasoned. Thank you guys for the amazing BBQ. I hope to be back soon.

The ribs and brisket had great flavor. Little pricey. We were not a fan of the potatoe salad or Cole slaw. And the bread is just plain white bread from the store. We bought the family meal 65$ to try out. Will def order just meal alone.
