I used to live in Vancouver, WA about 25 years ago and I remember LOVING the fish and chips at Burgerville, and thinking it was great to get such high quality at a fast food restaurant. I’ve been living here again for the past two years. Very early on I went in for “fish and chips” to see if it was still as good as I remembered. NOPE. I remember telling myself, “don’t need to eat here again.” For some reason, I gave them another chance last week. We ordered a black cod sandwich meal (regular size), and a 6 piece fish and chips meal (regular size). $39.56. ALMOST FORTY DOLLARS?! We hadn’t even received the food, but I already regretted it. Once I’d bitten into the sandwich, though, I didn’t just regret it, I was livid. My fist bite, and I didn’t even get any fish. By the third bite I had finally found the black cod “shavings,” they were passing off as filets. Please see photos. The pieces of fish in the fish and chips were quite small, perhaps three quarters of an inch thick and about three inches square. I felt completely ripped off. I’ve been wanting to visit a high quality seafood restaurant in Portland who has fish and chips on the menu, also for $20, and I wish I had just finally ventured over there.

I got a nw sandwich with a large fry and a small tea and I paid $18. When I got home and opened the bag I was shocked/ what happened to quality control? I had to toss the fries because they were old, over fried and gross! I hope the manager actually looks at these reviews because something isn’t right!!

They’re slammed and busting their buttons. The front lady is so nice and trying to make sure everyone is being tended to. We were dine in and the amount of to go orders they had made sense why they’re rushing around. We’re from out of town. Probably wont be back cause of the price but all is well.

First off I came through the drive thru about 2:00 pm dead as it can be. I ordered for my family, two kids cheeseburgers meal and two northwest. I paid everything was fine until I went to the second one. I wasn’t greeted for three minutes and then I get told to park without even of our drinks. Then I go in to see the hold up keep in mind it’s been a solid ten minutes. I see the boss David practically yelling at his employees then walks away without helping them. So that was enough for me to just walk away and go somewhere else even though I paid that was enough to see how the boss treats his employees

I will NEVER eat at another Burgerville again. Not only did they change their chicken strip recipe, heavily breaded & hard outer crisp, but their fries were not fresh & over cooked.
I wanted to exchange my meal as soon as I had 1 fry & saw the chicken strips. Kai, the manager, proceeded to enter in my new charge for my new meal, regardless of not eating my other meal.
I said the fries are cold & hard, he touched them w his hand & said, “okay, I’ll take the fries off”, & charged me for a small squished double cheeseburger with the thinnest burger patties & doused in spread. An additional $7.49 even though I didn’t touch the chicken strips & wanted to throw them away, see pic.
I rarely return food anywhere, & if I have, I’ve never been charged more for another meal. If the customer isn’t satisfied, with cold hard chicken strips, they shouldn’t be charged to get something they would eat instead.
Touching the fries in the same basket as chicken strips, then charging extra for a burger replacement at an already over priced fast food restaurant, not my idea of a great lunch.

Clean, friendly staff. Fish n Chips tasty. Clean bathrooms and tables. I did have to wipe down a sticky booster seat. Fish crunchy coating better than Red Robin. Toddler ate it all. Staff split one milkshake in two for us. Whipped cream on top pumpkin shakes yum!

Iam finished with Burgerville due to quality if food this last year and incorrect orders and high cost. Several times they have forgot to give me the tarter sauce with fish and chips even after I said please do not forget the tarter sauce. I’ve also noticed the grounds and building and not kept in good condition like they used to be. I have a feeling Burgerville is about to go out of business soon..and to top it off they want you to tip on cc machine…huh?

This location is so incredibly inconsistent, and I think I have narrowed it down as to why. If Saga is on staff that day, your food will be correct. But if Timothy is working the drive through, your order will be wrong and missing items.
Burgerville is NOT cheap. When the food is on point, I don’t mind the extra expense. When the food/service falls short, it’s infuriating! Today our fries were basically raw, initially the rosemary fries weren’t in the bag, and the burgers were kind of dry and not very flavorful. Still over $50 for 3 people though. I think we will be going the extra distance to the downtown Camas location from now on.
