Reviews
My review is based on the customer service.
It’s been a long time since we’ve been to Moe’s, but tonight we wanted something different, so we stopped by.
It was 8:20, so we knew they were probably cleaning up and most likely going to get the scraps leftover, but we gave it a try.
Upon walking in, we were greeted by Jeffery, who was cleaning the grill. He was very pleasant and didn’t seem upset with us walking in, which made me happy, as I know I hate last-minute customers.
Jeffery took my wife’s order and was great with customer service. She eats Moe’s more than I do. When it was my turn, I wasn’t sure what to get and had questions; Jeffery answered them all and made a recommendation, which was great for me.
We both ordered bowls. Aiden came next and added the toppings; they had a little bit of everything left. He was easygoing and accommodating, and my wife got her fill of toppings.
At this point, Jeffery was making my bowl. Here’s the best part: they were low on brown rice and chicken. I was going to change my order to get what he had, but instead, Jeffery pulled out two hot and freshly made trays of brown rice and chicken, assuring me it wasn’t a problem.
When it was my turn for toppings, Aiden was waiting. I was asking about the salsas, and Aiden immediately offered me samples, which made it easier to decide, as you never know the spicy level or taste. I don’t like sour cream and asked which salsa had it; Aiden didn’t mind going over them.
By this time, a few people were walking in; both Jeffery and Aiden acknowledged them, making them feel welcomed.
Amari is the manager, and he walked in from throwing out the trash. We saw him outside on our way in; he was cleaning and helping his crew. If it wasn’t for me asking, he was just another employee working side by side—a quality of a good manager.
At the checkout counter was Traci; she was ringing us up and asked if we were staying or to go. I asked how soon they close, and she said we had time to eat; we decided to go due to the time.
Traci had a driver waiting for food and took a minute to get his order; she was polite to us and got the driver out the door, explaining she doesn’t like them waiting.
While we were ordering, another thing Traci had done was get us a bag of tortilla chips to go with our order.
It was such a great experience that my wife said to me, “What a sweet group of kids.”
Great experience, and to the owner, I hope you treat them well, because they deserve it!
