Cajun’s is a must if you are traveling through Lowell, VT. It is a self order (not table service) snack bar with a dine in and take out option. There are many picnic tables outside as well.
The alligator bites and cheeseburgers are highly recommended! Delicious milk shakes and their fries are good, too! We ordered 3 cheeseburgers, fries, alligator app., crayfish tails, mozzarella sticks, and two milkshakes for our group, and everyone left super full with leftovers.
The “outhouses” are real bathrooms with full plumbing and hot water. Very clean, too!
Added bonus is the basketball hoop to keep kids entertained while adults finish up.

An interesting spot tried the alligator with the special sauce. Not too busy September 11th nice cool day. I ate my food inside and it was clean. Probably is very busy in the summer.

It’s a very friendly well run snack bar with excellent food and good portions. They do an amazing job and are very clean with inside and outside seating, games for kids, etc. Plenty of parking too. Close to atv trails too.

Dine in area is limited seats. They prioritize take away first than dine in customers. I guess all their foods are fried but it tastes good.they have this alligator meal which is kinda exotic if you think of it.

A nice snack bar in the middle of beautiful Vermont! Take a drive and choose from a large menu ranging from fried alligator, crawfish, frog legs, corn dogs, to sweet potato fries with a side of coleslaw.

Menu is diverse and the prices are not bad for the quantity that you get. They also serve a good variety of ice creams. Outside seating is dog friendly, so don’t forget to bring your pup for a doggie sundae!

We stopped by during a very busy time, so the service was understandably a bit slow. The staff was friendly, and overall the food was good, with a few highlights and a couple of misses.

The Blue Cheese Burger looked great but ended up a little dry, and the fries came out cold. On the bright side, the scallops were fantastic—easily the standout of the meal. The frozen lemonade was refreshing, perfect for a hot day. The seafood platter could’ve used more tartar sauce and lemon, but the coleslaw was fresh and well done.

The small arcade area is a nice add-on, especially for families. That said, it would be even better with a bit more variety—most of the games were crane-style. A few classic or multiplayer games would make it a more well-rounded experience.

All in all, we’d come back—especially when it’s less crowded. Great potential and a fun vibe.

Don’t waste your time with this place. It used to be so Delishious. Now it’s dirty, run down, rude staff and I had diarrhea before even left parking lot. .By the amount of TP in bathroom, and poop stains it’s obvious a regular accurance. $98 for diarrhea, just go to McDonalds for $20. Don’t recommend! Will never go back. Probably doesn’t matter as they’ve been trying to sell. Wicked sad!!

I never thought I’d be eating alligator in northern VT! I’ve only ever found it in Florida, so to learn it was there while visiting friends, I had to go, and it was absolutely delicious! The dipping sauce was perfect, the fries were great, and if you’re a fan of “creamsicles” don’t miss the orange blossom shake!

Others in our party had burgers, oyster rolls and other dishes, no one was disappointed!

It’s a bit of a drive but worth it. The cajun fries might be about the best thing, but in this case that’s a complement. Service was very reasonable time-wise especially considering we’re dealing with COVID restrictions. Food was super fresh and excellent. Don’t wear a clean shirt if you’re planning on eating the Shrimp Po-Boy. It could use a little more kick, and the sauce that comes with it is not ketchup which helps. All-in-all much closer to a New Orleans food experience than I expected. Recommended.
