Salvatores is a known business in the Madison area, I think this is the third location now. The pizza is excellent and priced reasonably well. This particular location isn’t as fancy or polished looking like the other locations. Which is not a bad thing, in fact it just added to the experience for me. It has a very comfortable vibe to it. The cocktails were very good and of course the pizza was great. I will definitely be going back to this location for more Walter White pizza. (My favorite Salvatores Pie)

I went to Salvatore’s last month with my Mom and Daughter for lunch. We had a great experience. It was my first time there. When entering the dining space, my first thoughts were on how cute everything was, I loved the decor. There is no mistaking that you’re in an Italian establishment, which I love. I loved the music playing, from Frank Sinatra and other Italian artists. The ambiance was fantastic, from the music, to the beautiful lounge bar area, to the cutest dining tables, each adorned with a flower and gingham table cloth. The service was great. We had a very friendly waiter that was attentive and helpful. We of course ordered pizza, we got one classic and one with sausage, mushroom and tomatoes. Both pizzas were delicious. We could not stop eating and only went home with a few left over slices. The sauce they use is so good, it’s the perfect combination of sweet and tangy while the crust provided the perfect crunch. I highly recommend Salvatore’s for a nice lunch out or for dinner and drinks. It’s the perfect cozy pizza spot with an Italian atmosphere.

While Sal’s does have great pizza, we have only ever been to the Livingston Street location. We came over to Monona for trivia and had a blast! The ambience is much better at the Monona location than at the downtown location. It feels very cozy, and it was a very fun vibe on a Friday night. Weight staff was attentive, and the pizza was great, as always. We’ll definitely be back for another trivia night soon!
The fat uncle Tony is our household‘s favorite pizza!

It was amazing. Heidi was our server. It was super busy but she was super aware. We loved the Friday trivia.

More sauce, more toppings. sausage had no flavor. looks like Ray Charles cut the pizza. Find a way to set yourself apart. There’s a lot of Pizza in the world and this is just like every other Pizza that I’m not ordering again.
Edit: we just got to the desert, no caramel sauce with the chocolate cake just Hershey’s syrup minus one star

Usually do not do take out reviews but Salvatore’s deserves a shout out !
Was in the neighborhood and decided to stop in to pick up some take away pizza . I ordered from their online menu and twenty minutes later drove by their location to pick up .
Parking lot is fairly big and free parking easily accessible which was great for a quick stop pickup.
The flavors we ordered was the gluten free 10” Figgy Piggy and the 16” Lombardy in regular crust . Both pizza were delicious and well prepared . The figgy piggy is certainly a unique and special flavor combination of prosciutto Gorgonzola and wine poached figs and drizzle of honey . Super memorable. The gluten free crust stands out as not being a cracker which is a plus . The Lombardy is a giant in size and boasts the traditional pizza flavor when craving pepperoni and some jalapeños for spice . The addition of cheese curds is very Wisconsin like and I appreciated it . This does come with a side of hot honey but I did not need more spice for my taste . I’m sure for anyone else hat enjoys spicy sweet flavor it’s his would be an added bonus .
We will certainly be doing take out again and hopefully trying their sit down location in person .

Popular pizza chain serving awesome pizza. Came here on a usually busy night (UW graduation weekend) and service was super slow (took 20 mins to bring us out three cans of beer, which arrived after our appetizer). The fries were a very small portion for the cost. Pizzas were great. Love that they had a vegan pie — it was one of the best vegan pizzas I’ve had. Waiter was friendly, a bit frazzled, and apologetic for the slow service.

The Walter White pizza is delicious and different. The sausage and mozzarella…very tasty. The lemon is a subtle touch. And the amount of spice is just right. Delivery was top notch!

Watch out for Joe Bananas—it’s hot but it’s good! Figgy Piggy is worth it too. The night we came, however, service was sloooooow. Could have been that night. Also the music is a little loud but we were sitting next to a speaker but it’s still good artisan pizzas with good yeasty crunchy crust! If I eat here again I’d get takeout over dine in.
