Parking is very simple to locate. The exterior and interior very well maintained. The interior seating is very appealing to the eyes upon walking inside. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an enjoyable authentic sushi experience. 5 stars all the way for Sushi King!

Food had been good for years; the service in the last six months or so has been terrible. The taller man that seats customers has no business interacting with the public. He rarely speaks, he points and motions where he wants you to sit and half the time he doesn’t even walk with you to your table. Once you get your drink, sip slowly. Getting a refill is like turning lead into gold. Our family finished our waters and tried to at least make eye contact with him for refills….nothing. When he did walk by, I spoke up politely and asked for refills….never even looked our way. Five minutes later he walks by and puts a pitcher of water on the table and never says a word. When we left, he practically jerked the ticket caddy out of my hand. We never even spoke to this man, so I have no clue why he was acting this way towards us. Other customers were being treated either the same, or like family. No consistency or regard for the people paying their bills.

The food is really good, the customer service has severely gone downhill though. The fact that they charge you a fee for “buffet waste” is absolutely ridiculous and I’m pretty sure illegal although I will have to look. The fact that they would charge you a fee because you could not eat something that was INEDIBLE due to being overcooked and hard as a rock is ridiculous. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants to eat at and now I don’t think I’m going to ever go back.

Food is ok, and used to be good for the price. However, the service and experience has gone downhill: front desk person is rude, they upcharge heavily for any changes to a take out order, and the “waste” charge for the buffet makes this a BAD choice for kids.

Just started getting egg drop soup for my wife from here. First time it was good. Second, it was lukewarm. The other problem is that you need to make a $5 purchase for credit. I get it, but still, don’t need to be pushy about it. Needs to be fixed. I can get egg drop soup somewhere else.

This was some of the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had…
I took my car in for an oil change and thought that I would head over while my Subaru was being looked after. The inside was mighty depressing for a 1pm Monday afternoon crowd. There were three other patrons, all sitting alone, shoveling food depressingly from the buffet. So, I tried my luck by getting a to-go box and filling it with various “delectables.”
With my vehicle adequately serviced, I headed home to enjoy mt meal. Perhaps it was an off day, but I detected the distinct odor and flavor of burnt tires coming from the noodles, wontons, and eggrolls. I put those items aside, and tried to enjoy the rest of the subpar meal. About 15 minutes later, I experienced violent retching which recurred on and off throughout the next several hours.
If you are interesting in the violent illness method of losing weight, this is the place for you!

The food is good, the service and decar needs work but overall ok. they would probably benefit more and not loose as many customers if they would atleast have a delivery service that exclusively delivers to the nearby condominiums and townhomes on the Pantops area. Its ridiculous not too if you are able to walk to a customers location and deliver food.

Unlike a few of our OLD favorites, this Chinese restaurant is still fixing fresh food. . . No deep fried chicken in their Kung Pao chicken. If you want fresh that doesn’t make you feel ill and swollen after the message, Shane Hai!
