I recently stopped into Langsford Road Lobster & Fish house for a quick dinner! We started steamers which were good. We each had a lobster roll, which were a decent size. Our only qualm was that we wish the lobster roll buns were toasted but otherwise good! No frills kind of place, which we like!

Oysters were very fresh and tasty, though the shucking left some shell. OK since it is not some high-end location.
Steamed lobster was great. I would recommend getting the soft shell lobsters as they are much easier to pick.

First and foremost this is a seafood market. Most people who come here take away their purchases. That said, there are three picnic tables located on the water in a picturesque setting. You order first and then relax while they steam your clams or lobsters. They also have corn on the cob to steam. The chowder which is available from a crock in the corner is excellent and something you can enjoy while they are steaming your dinner. The people who work here Maine Charming which other people would like to call Gruff. You can choose your own Lobster and get big sizes and the Steamers are always great. The pricing is very fair. They have a shorter season so be sure to call first. If you want to be able to sit outside arrive a little earlier before noon and you should be fine.

I was really excited to try this place… super disappointed. We paid cash for 2 lobster rolls + 2 chowders. $77?? When we asked what the extra charges were it was apparently gratuities. We felt really awkward about asking to take some of that off so we did not. Which I bet they count on a lot of people doing the same. No paper receipt.
The butter lobster rolls were not toasted or even warm? I can get the same thing elsewhere for less and it will be served better. This place is definitely priced for the neighborhood, overpriced for most people though.

Classic, nothing fancy, but excellent oysters. We plan to go again tonight for the steamers but couldn’t help but start out post. If you are looking for a local spot, that gets you oh so fresh and tasty seafood, look no furthers. No frills, no fuss, just good food.

Take out lobster pound we keep coming back to for vacation. We preorder lobster dinners with some 1.5 lb and some 2.0 lb lobsters, with steamed calms, clam chowder, and steamed corn on the cob. Everything is always hot, fresh and ontime for pickup.

Lobsters lobsters lobsters! This place is the real deal for fresh seafood with no frills. They will steam anything for you (clams, lobsters, corn, etc.) but note this place is best for takeaway. We enjoyed 4 lbs of steamers at one of the picnic tables on the deck overlooking the water. Cash preferred – ATM onsite.
