This bakery is located in the heart of Amish community. Very beautiful view from the garden, where they have benches – you could enjoy your picnic in here. They have short working hours, so check their website.
I was here on Friday, so it was not too crowded, but I heard on Saturday it gets really busy.
Staff is very friendly. They have breads, cookies, pies, pretzels, donuts. Prices are reasonable.
I was hoping to get sourdough bread ( without yeast), but they do not have it.

Little bakery with a line up for superb goods! They make bakery the way your grandma wished she could!! Has picnic tables outside, and a little garden, which would be peaceful but for the honey bees after your food. (Yes they have honey and honeycomb for sale). This bakery doesn’t serve sandwiches or drinks except coffee. Outdoor toilet. It’s pretty much pick up and go, but oh my goodness! What a treat!! ❤️They are over an hour away but I will be back!

Oh my, the pretzel was gone in minutes. The cinnamon roll was ate the next morning. Probably the best icing I’ve ever had on a cinnamon roll, than we had the pecan pie after barbecue with friends. Guarantee you will not be disappointed. Absolutely love it❣️

The drive was beautiful. We enjoyed watching local farmers harvest their crops. We stood in line for about 40 min and there is a bathroom. We bought bread for our neighbors and they loved it. The donuts are awesome. We also got a jumbo pretzel and a pie.

Best experience possible. Everything was amazing, and I can’t wait to return. I am definitely going back. Be there about 30 minutes before opening to be first in line. The smells will cause you to buy everything you see, so bring cash. Very reasonably priced. Love the small pies for smaller families.

Fantastic Amish bakery in the lower level of a Amish home. Large variety of breads and rolls, pies, fry pies, candies, donuts and the most delicious pretzel you will ever have. Extremely affordable prices. I purchased 3 loaves of bread, dinner rolls, fry pie, and a whoopie pie, entire order under $20. Get there early as items sell out. Cash only. I was able to snap a few pics as I wanted to be considerate to the Amish women.
Highly recommended making a trip here.

Out of the way but worth the visit! The sign to the bakery door had fallen so we weren’t sure where to go at first, but when found the bakery was full of delicious scents and surprises – I hadn’t thought of homemade candy at the bakery, but there it was and looking so good! They even had pretzels & cheese sauce!

Note: the bakery has new hours for 2025: they are only open Fridays and Saturdays. Arrived at 11AM and had to wait 35 minutes in line to get in the bakery – typical for mornings. If you arrive at 8:30AM or after 12 noon your wait is only 10-20 minutes. Lots of different bread, pies and cookies. Cinnamon and Carmel rolls, Glazed donuts. Food is very good. Plenty of parking. This was about my 10th visit and I will visit again.
