Cubans were just way too greasy. We’ve had Cuban sandwiches from places owned by Cubans and in Puerto Rico, none have ever been this greasy. Off the mark for us.

Would go to other carts first. $13 for just a sandwich which was average. Other carts offered side with their sandwiches.
Took over 30 minutes to get order and the pager didn’t work so had to hang out by the cart to get my order. While sitting there listed to employees complain about something instead of getting orders out. Not a good experience.

I loved loved LOVED this amazing menu! Whappos catered my husbands 40th birthday party little and the food was the hit of the whole event! It was also a marine corp reunion and the attention to detail Mr David Smith gave our family while planning such a huge event made the whole process so smooth! They are set up by the New Commonwealth Pub! Treat our family friends and taste buds to some Caribbean flavors! You won’t regret it!

I really wanted to love this place when we went out to visit Commonwealth Pub which just opened. We ordered 9-piece wings, three different types of tacos (beef, pork, and curry chicken) and the lamb burger.
Unfortunately, with the exception of the actual lamb patty, the food was completely unexceptional and generally poor quality. The lamb patty was nicely prepared and well seasoned. The bun was apparently flattened in transit, and the burger had a bunch of other stuff on it, including some sort of uber-hard but unflavored crispy disc (might have been super fried cheese) thing that added nothing in terms of flavor, but some intrigue when I would take a bite (was not expecting a super hard disc thingy in the middle of my juicy medium rare lamb burger.
I literally don’t know what it was.
In summary, simply under-seasoned, low quality food truck food. Ooof. I guess the fries were cooked well and served hot. The wings had no sauce on them. The tacos, and I don’t say this lightly, were simply not good. Slathered in uninspired green guacamole (I think that’s what it was) and under-seasoned and lacking real flavor, I just didn’t understand.
While I would go back to Commonwealth Pub, I would not eat at the food truck again unless they step up their game.
I’d recommend simplifying the menu and only making dishes on which they can really do an exceptional job. Bend is too much of a foodie food town and there are lots of exceptional food trucks to visit.
If they don’t step up their game and really bring some well executed, properly prepared food with some specialness to each dish, I don’t think they’ll make it as a business which is a bummer.

Husband and I were in Bend for one night staying at a motel nearby… and decided to try it for lunch. So glad we did.. shared the Cuban sandwich & it was delicious and the green salad with pineapple and mango was outstanding! Good service and the owner was very nice!
