Went for take away and just decided to sit there and eat. It’s small with a couple of tables to sit in if you wish. Lovely food at reasonable price. They make you feel so welcome and even will adjust the spice to suit your taste. If they are not too busy they will have a friendly chat. Nice authentic curry house.

We have now have been twice to this restaurant in two days! It is mainly a take away place but we are tourists with limited ability to use that service. Ambience in the restaurant is nil…but you do get to watch the cooks at work. They demonstrate high standards of cleanliness and everyone is busy all the time! They have a fantastic range of Indian curries and portions are generous. We might go back a third time in our three day stay!

Horrible service. They have 2 litre bottle of drink for £3 and cans for £1. When chose vimto, you are forced to buy two of either. This would fine if they didn’t scam you! Ordered one 2litre bottle and one can (£4 total) then only two cans came. I called and they said they had no bottles (then it shouldn’t be on the menu). I asked for them to send me two more cans then. Although it brings less, at least it would make up the £4 as cans are £1 each. He refused to do so and then pretended to not understand English to avoid the situation! This is not the first time something like this has happened. I know it’s just vimto but the point is that their service is horrible and they just outright scam you by offering something they don’t have, charging you for it, then giving you something a third of the price!! When I told him that he was scamming people and it’s illegal to do what he did he hung up on me.

What a taste sensation! Just ordered Chicken Kashmiri Sweet and it was great. Asked for it “hot” and it was just that. Keema naan also very good and not greasy. Highly recommended! (Ate it too fast for foto, soz)

The Kashmiri Curry House only recently changed name from Mumbai Curry House 2 but nothing else has changed. In fact they are still using their Mumbai Curry House menus and won’t change the name on the menus until they need to print more!
They are primarily a take away service with extremely limited space inside for anyone wanting to sit down for a meal. The food is decent and the choice is quite extensive. You should pre-order any food prior to collecting as it can take some time to prepare.

Tiny Indian restaurant. It is really not meant as a restaurant where you sit down and spend an evening with friends. Neither the restaurant nor the street where it is located are something to write home about.
Either a quick lunch or take-away food. But don’t expect the party at home to say “wow, where did you get this food from”?
