We ate lunch at C&C italian deli & sandwich shop yesterday. It was really delicious. I love a good deli and I thought this one was great!

I recently went there and got a Philly cheese steak and a Chubette subs with a soda and chips. I can tell you that QT has better subs than them. absolute awefull first of the meat was not cooked correctly and was not the right cut of meat . The chicken looked like it was boiled and they put the least effort in it and no seasoning at all. I am A New Jersey native and as all y’all know we are known for our subs and bagels and this place was straight trash. I was expecting a least a B+ since they say they’re from nYc and got a F-. I would never recomend this place to anyone. I payed 20$ each for the combo a total of 40$ for both and got this trash.

Being from New England, I miss the authentic Italian cuisine.. especially the grinders! This place is hands down the BEST Italian deli I’ve found in the South. I would definitely give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!

This was my second visit and I really wanted to like their food. The owner is from the same part of the Bronx as me so was really excited when I heard about them. Unfortunately both times I was disappointed. First let me say the staff was great and I really hope they make it. Both times , the bread was not typical for Italian Sandwiches, much too large and stale. The meats /cheese were slim and the sandwich was so dry. On the 2nd visit I had the chicken cutlet sandwich and again.. bread was stale and dry. The chicken cutlet should have been pounded to be thinner as it was a huge overcooked chunk. I couldn’t even bite it. I actually threw the whole thing away. I got a side of potato salad which was tasty but a very small serving. It was $20 for the sandwich and side. I was so disappointed and on my way out asked another diner how her sandwich was .. she shook her head “no” as in not good. I probably won’t go back again. I really hate to give bad reviews but have to be honest, especially knowing what real Italian sandwiches are in NYC.

Neat little place. Lots of options. My friend and I ordered hot sandwiches. She received hers quickly, unlike me. She wouldn’t recommend the tea. The bread was definitely good. Pricey and lacking meat. Being a damn Yankee, I was looking forward to going there for lunch. Subs at Publix are just as good and much cheaper. Table space is limited. The guy who took our order was super nice. Lots of menu options available.

Half of the sandwich had all fat no meat. The other half wasn’t much better. Bread was good but the sandwich itself was very disappointing.

Large sandwich menu so give yourself time to look it over. My husband and I each ordered a sandwich, they were HUGE! Almost 2 inches thick, so much meat on them, our only complaint as the meat overpowers the other items on the sandwich, so you don’t taste all the flavors of the items. That is the reason for only a 3 star for food, as we both thought our sandwich would each have been better with less meat. The bread is very good, holds together well.

We each took home half a sandwich which together probably weighed over a pound of meat or more. l ate a half of each half for lunch today, then put the rest of the meat in the fridge for another day. Seriously, that’s a lot of meat for the price! Sorry we didn’t take photos to share. Sorry, we didn’t have any sides or sweets, the sandwiches were enough!

Very friendly staff, wait time was not an issue.

Sandwiches were AMAZING! We’ve been looking for a good Italian sandwich and this is the place! 20.00 for 9 in Sandwich, chips and drink, couldnt get that anywhere else. Plus, you’re supporting a small business! Chatted it up with the owner for a bit, he was very friendly! We will definitely be back!

We went for lunch and it wasn’t anything special. The chicken Parmesan sub was overcooked and honestly pretty bland/old tasting for $16 an a drink. My buddy got a Philly and it literally had 2 slices of roast beef. Half of it was just fat. He asked the staff if it has the right amount of meat or if it was a mistake and needed more. They said it was the right amount. Again we felt it wasn’t worth the $16. You’re better off going else where.

We have been looking for an true NY Deli since we moved here from Long Island last year and we have finally found one in C&C. We have been here twice now and each time the food was delicious and authentic- especially the BREAD! The staff is amazing and work quick to keep wait times down- both times we visited, we were in and out in under 15 minutes even with a line. We are excited to add C&C to one of our regular stops in GVL!
