Ordered a Detroit style The Big Fork, it is a heavy pizza and delicious. It’s very doughy in the middle while the sides have a nice crispy “fried” taste. Slices are offered over lunch on weekdays. There are some tables outside on a patio, but only seating inside is a bar rail.

Incredible! I know Montana loves its pizza but – I didn’t think it would be the best food on the block and it was hands down I would take a deep dish pizza here over the $50 a plate restaurant food across the street. It’s also head over heels better than Dominoes – not even in the same ballpark.
I had “The Big Fork” it’s a classic Detroit deep dish with real fennel sausage and pepperoni crispy cheese crust fresh sauce topped off with with fresh ricotta and hot honey the pesto bread sticks on a focaccia style bread was great to share too.
It’s flavorful, it’s seasoned right, it’s crispy, it’s hot, it’s made to order everything you want in a pizza and dipping sauce was fresh too.
The guys there walked us through the menu made it easy to follow. Can’t wait to come back.
Have a whole pie and take some home – you won’t regret it!

This pizza was one of the best I’ve ever had! We had the honey bear which was the most amazing flavor combination I’ve ever experienced. The service was amazing and I can’t wait to come back and have the honey bear again and try another different pizza too. Flathead Valley is lucky to have Ranger Joe’s!

I’m originally from New Jersey. I’ve had tons of pizza in NJ and NY. I’ve had pizza in 41 states total. I’m generally not a fan of Detroit style pizza, however, Ranger Joe’s Detroit pizza is the best pizza of any type in the Flathead Valley! Ranger Joe’s other styles of pizza are also good.
The Kalispell employee team is the best group of employees at ANY restaurant I’ve eaten at in the valley in my 22 years out here. It’s always a pleasant experience doing business with them.
From my interactions with him, I can say that Ranger Joe is a great guy. One of the ways I judge the character of a restaurant owner is to read their replies to bad reviews. The way they reply says a lot about them. Ranger Joe’s has very few bad reviews as they have a 4.9 out of 5.0 rating over almost a thousand reviews. You can’t always please every customer and people have different tastes. Ranger Joe does a great job replying to the very, very few negative reviews with a positive attitude. This confirms the quality person he is as I’ve concluded from my interactions with him.
I highly recommend Ranger Joe’s here in Kalispell and in Columbia Falls!

On our vacation, we ordered online for a pickup order. We ordered the deep dish half pepperoni half cheese for our 14 and 16 year old to share. My daughter said it was the best deep dish pizza she’s ever had and she’s pretty picky about sauce, cheese and crust.

Ordered a double pepperoni for carry out. Upon pickup staff was very friendly and said the pizza just went in and would be ready shortly. As other customers came in the young man at the counter was greeting them and taking care of them in a positive and welcoming way. At one point another older worker paid him a compliment and fist bump and I thought that was great! Seeing people having fun at work is so rare but they were rocking it. Pizza was delicious and the toppings, sauce and crust were great. Keep up the great job everyone !! If we weren’t from Wisconsin we’d frequent your place! Also liked the info about Joe on the wall thanks for your service from a LEO family!

Absolutely incredible pizza! As a West Coast transplant (originally from the East Coast), finding truly great pizza has been a challenge…but to my surprise, some of the best I’ve had is right here in Kalispell, Montana. The crust, the toppings, the ricotta clouds… unforgettable.
The service was just as impressive..warm, welcoming, and genuine. We even had the pleasure of meeting Ranger Joe himself, which made the experience extra memorable. After fueling up here, we’re ready for tomorrow’s Glacier hikes, and no doubt we’ll be dreaming of this pizza along the way.
