The Shamrock Club is River North’s Neighborhood Bar & Grill since 1981 where everyone is treated like a regular! We have some of the best food and drink prices in the area, a warm staff, and flavorful bar fare. Just steps away from the Merchandise Mart, the brown and purple line trains, and bustle of River North, let the Shamrock Club be your home away from home! Great bartender! We ordered two pints of Miller lite before we realized it was a better deal to get the pitcher. We were like oh well, but the bartender said oh no, I’ll give you a half of a pitcher and then give you the pitcher price instead of the price of 4 pints. Really nice guy. Clean and private restrooms.

I was really surprised at the great prices for food being in downtown. It’s waaaay cheaper than my neighborhood pub that has burgers three times the price and not nearly as delicious. Great place to come watch a game, you just might have to wait for a server for a bit (crowded).

Nothing really spectacular about the place, but if you want a classic dive bar experience, this is your spot! It has a pool table, Popcorn machine, and even a “mystery shot” for three dollars! The prices are more than I am used to for a dive, but that’s due to the location, I’m sure..
