We visited this all-you-can-eat sushi place with our family on a spontaneous decision, and it turned out to be a true highlight of our trip. The sushi quality was outstanding, especially for the price! In Europe this quality is comparable to high-end sushi restaurants. Completely unexpected and incredibly impressive!

The staff was fantastic, with a special mention to the young American waitress who spoke fluent German, which was such a pleasant surprise. Great location, amazing food, unbeatable price—everything was perfect. Highly recommended!

A group of six of us went here last night for all you can eat sushi. My friend recommended this place. They only allow reservations for six or more so I did get the chance to make reservations in advance. Definitely made a difference because they seem very busy! We ordered a number of sushi rolls and sashimi. I really like that their sushi rolls come in sizes of four versus eight or ten. It makes it a lot more feasible to try all different types of rules. Our server was very nice and very tentative to us! There were a lot of food Runners so our food just kept coming out and we kept ordering as we went. It was honestly one of the most efficient all you can eat Sushi’s I’ve been to. The quality of fish is pretty good as well, I really enjoyed the black dragon roll in the Coronado beach. Although I think they really have something for all types of sushi lovers. Oh and you also can catch a slight view of the beach sunset depending where you sit.

We love Yummy Sushi and have been coming here many times for the amazing food and the all-you-can-eat option. Service is usually hit or miss, but tonight we had Karen as our server and she was absolutely incredible. She was attentive, on top of everything, and gave us the best service we’ve ever had here. Honestly, she should be the one training all the other servers—or even managing—because the difference she made was huge. Thank you, Karen, for making our experience so enjoyable! If I could give Karen 10 stars, I would!

Honestly, it was good. I thought it was a little expensive for the all you can eat, but if you’re really hungry, sure go for it.
My only thing was that they either give the whole table the “all you can eat price” if everyone opts into it. This sucks because if you go with someone who eats very little (like my girlfriend), this place makes good money off of you two. It sucks but I get why they do it: someone gets the all you can eat and everyone else gets like a fountain drink or something cheap and then eat off the 10 plates of food the other person got. Trick old as time.

Other than that, I think the place was good! It’s kinda hard to mess up sushi, the presentation was super pretty and I personally liked the yakisoba a lot.

I thought the sushi options were good, lots to choose from. If you like photos of the sushi or descriptions of what is in the sushi you won’t get it here. Also not sure if it was a coincidence or if they were trying to charge us for unfinished sushi but they added an extra piece to a few of our half-roll orders. And they also brought us an extra half roll order. We were so busy eating and enjoying we didn’t even realize until we counted our orders. Luckily we finished everything. Other than that great views no wait like others complained about and this was on a busy Sunday.

I had a fried rice craving and Yummy Sushi was the closest place to me for something of similar origin. I popped in with no expectations and to my surprise it was BUSY!
4:30pm on a Sunday… good sign to me.

The service was excellent! I love the way the servers all work together as a team. Any employee can help you if needed and they all did it with gratitude and joy.

Delicious sushi at Yummy Sushi! We ordered the $45 all you can eat and it was worth it. We ordered nigiri, sashimi, hand rolls, loved the bluefin tuna Negitoro, salmon, yellowtail, halibut, red snapper, octopus, spicy scallop, albacore. The long weekend and utc sushi rolls were great. The restaurant is dog friendly. Service was very friendly and the food came out quick. Recommend!

We really want to love Yummy Sushi. We are fairly regular diners there and every now and then we get our large family in for meal together. This last visit was for a group of 18 – we made reservation a week prior and asked if their AC was finally fixed (the area at the front of restaurant had been out for years) as this would have determined whether or not we go. They said yes it was fixed but when we got there it was hot and it was off. Fortunately as the sun set it kicked in and we could dine in peace for the second half of our visit.

The food was delicious. We all had the AYCE menu and the dishes were good. Timing was a bit rough – sometimes things came out super fast and other times we waited 15-20 minutes in between. We know large groups are a challenge but I wish they were a bit better prepared. We were assigned one server split up by three tables – perhaps one server per table to keep the flow of information (orders) and accountability for service would help. We got scolded for asking a different server about our order – apparently that caused confusion and some items may have been ordered twice.

Quality of the food was good but the value was excellent. We will probably go back but will think twice before going as a large group again.
