My family used to go here a decent amount when I was younger. I had always loved it, decided to come back after having not gone in probably 15 years or so.
The food overall was very solid, but the service was slightly slow. The pizza funny enough tasted just like I remembered it, in a good way.
It did seem a bit empty, I don’t know if it was just the time of day/week we chose to go, but it does feel like they need to invest a little into updating the place here and there. My wife was thinking it’d be cool if they had like a little Italian market in the space, kind of like Bay Cities.
Either way, looking forward to coming back again.

I decided to have luch here after shopping at the 260 sample sample across. It was sunny and I wanted to eat outdoors. Miguel our server was friendly and quick. He recommended a couple of happy hour dishes as I just wanted a quick bite for me and my husband. I ordered the octopus salad (delicious), the mushroom and sausage “individual pizza”, meatballs and eggplant parmigiana. Their Litchi martini was amazing. The rosé from the happy hour list was decent. I will definitely go back! Thanks Miguel!!

This restaurant falls into the average category for me. The lobster was disappointingly subpar. While the services were commendable, the food didn’t live up to the overall dining experience. It lacks that spark, although it does succeed in filling you up.

Don’t be mislead by my rating system, realistic 5 star visits are rare and it isn’t that this restaurant was ‘bad’ … I am just not a fan of inflated prices based solely on location.
The fare was enjoyable although walking distance from Rodeo Drive, I expected a little more. Dining outside near the road deflected my focus away from the fact that I have had better food at half the price. Had this not been a birthday trip for my girlfriend, this review would have been a bit harsher.
A bit more research could have possibly led us to a better venue but unfortunately, we were a little too close to hangry stages to continue that route. All in all, I do not regret the choice but I do not think I would return.

I came on a Tuesday and there was a salsa lesson in progress. The festive ambiance definitely was a good pairing to the drinks and food I had. The pizza was simply good. The lentil soup had a good balance between thin, tasty, and crunchy taste. The music got me to dance several songs.

Italian restaurant close to Rodeo Drive. Outdoor seating was comfortable. Waiters were attentive and service was fairly quick. Ordered the mussels to share which were delicious, as well as the artichoke salad that had an amazing lemon zest. For mains we all ordered fish, branzino was over salted but loved the salmon, it was crunchy and flavorful. Their coffee is great. Prices are high.

Update (1-29-23): I came back to eat here again, and they were closed. They space was a sign with a number to call. This is what’s on their site:
“Thank you for the continued support of Caffe Roma for the last 45 years. We are closing the current location in January, but we will continue serving our cherished patrons at our sister restaurant, Cafe Amici.”
——-From my original visit;
Our server was excellent. He was very attentive. Bathrooms need some TLC. There is outdoor seating. Food was good even though I was hoping for better.

I enjoyed the Sunday happy hour food menu here along with terrific service.
Fussili with shrimp, octopus, chopped salad, broccoli and cauliflower—all quite good.
Caffe Roma has indoor, outdoor, and patio seating. Fun place that has been around for over two decades.

We had dinner at the Roma in Beverly Hills last night and it was excellent Italian food! 2 hours free parking is just a block up un N Canon Dr, additional time is $2.50/hour which is not bad for Beverly Hills. They have gas heaters for the folks sitting outside and the temperature inside the restaurant was ideal. Food was excellent, we had Pasta, Chicken and a pizza. While everything was really good, we’ll certainly return for the Pizza, tastes just as one would expect it in Italy. Location is great! As it was a pleasant December evening we went for a short stroll over to Rodeo Drive which is less than 5 minutes walking distance to admire the X-Mas decorations and lights. Prices are decent considering the location. Once again, pizza was hands down the best I’ve ever eaten in Los Angeles.
