An amazing sushi spot in the mall! The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made!Everything we ordered tasted amazing. The staff were very friendly and quite attentive, the service was quick but welcoming. The atmosphere was also really nice and relaxing depending on what time you decide to come in! Definitely a place if you’re wanting to go out for sushi with friends! :3

Hokkaido Sushi is located inside the Vancouver Mall. The place is amazing, the food is incredibly delicious and fresh, prepared to order. They also have a variety of sushi that passes through an automatic conveyor belt, allowing you to choose the one you’d like to enjoy. They offer different price points to suit all budgets and provide excellent service. I highly recommend it, and you can enjoy this delicious experience with your family and friends.

Want our refund, as you see here I ordered a crab salad for $4.95, they gave me a blue plate indicating it was $5.95 and they charged me $5.95, so I request a refund and an explanation. We’re not stupid. That’s how you lose a tip and get a bad review .

My two sons and I went to enjoy some sushi. It’s pretty much just an upgraded/renovation from the sushi place that was there before. The quality of the food is the same, which is decent, nothing upscale or fancy, but fresh. They have a cute little train that brings food or drinks. My sons loved it. Service was good, no issues.
Downsides are the price changes, it’s just too expensive for the go-round sushi that it is. My son had ordered the Beef Udon, which the broth and noodles were good but the meat wasn’t the best. Again, I’m not expecting too much but I do expect reasonable prices for what we get, which, they have increased their prices for the same quality food.
Overall, I’m glad they kept some kind of sushi in the mall and it’s a nice upgrade, but also won’t be going in for a long time because of the prices.

Honestly I was not expecting to like it as much as I did, I’m not super into sushi so I got the hibachi beef rice and it was so good. My partner said the actual sushi was really solid as well

Hokkaido Sushi & Ramen was a fantastic place to go eat at. It was a great experience. And the aesthetic of the place was nice. Employees/waiters were really helpful and very kind in welcoming us. Each plate color has a different price. And at the end, they add up all the plates that you eat, and that’s how you get the price you pay. We’ll definitely recommend going here. Just for the experience is worth it.

I went there this weekend and honestly was not impressed the food was ok, but for the price, it really wasn’t worth it. Like, for what you are paying for you could easily go fine dine somewhere cleaner and have a better experience. Cleanliness was the main thing that stood out, the tables didn’t really look wiped and the area just felt kinda messy. I’ve been here before and usually it’s fine but lately or last time i went tis was an issue and It’s just one of those things where its hard to enjoy food when ur noticing stuff like that. This time the service was also slow for simple things like waiting a while just to get water after being seated by the staff and them being present. Overall, it just felt overpriced and somewhere I’d wanna go back to anymore.

my first time to the place just got recently open, it is busy and packed. the atmosphere is cozy and nice. I love the light and design of it. they have the train coming by is cool in the conveyor belt. staff is nice and friendly. sushi taste amazing and has nice presentation but have patience since some sushi can take some time. reccomend the spot here.

Disgusting and overpriced!
Dinner for 2 people was $80. Tuna dyed pink to look fresh and imitation crab tastes like bleach. The quality of the food has gone way down since the remodel. Felt sick to my stomach later that night. Staff did not acknowledge us without having to flag someone down. Absolutely avoid.

I’ll start by saying the server was fantastic it was just her taking care of the whole restaurant. All of the sushi was not fresh and tasted old. There was barely any selection to choose from, like we only had 5 options coming by on the belt. The only way this would have been worth the experience was if each plate was $2. But instead for only 10 plates it costed us $76 and we left hungry. Oh there was also a fly on one of the plates.
Edit: Wanted to mention that a couple of us got sick later that night and the next day. Do not eat here. Trust the crappy rating and eat at the food court instead. You will get better food for a better price. Tried to talk with management about some sort of partial refund and she just wanted to argue instead of taking responsibility for running a disgusting restaurant with a fly problem.
