We chose this restaurant to have dinner because the reviews were good. We are glad we went because the food was good. The atmosphere wasn’t too busy, which was nice and low music was playing. We had a steak burrito, loaded nachos and steak fajitas. The dishes were flavorful and a generous amount for me to even take some home. We would recommend this restaurant to others.

Delicious, friendly, relaxed, and really prices this is our family’s new favorite neighborhood Mexican restaurant! We’ve been mourning the loss of Casa Mexican for a couple of years and finally found a worthy successor!

We started off with super tasty salsa and chips (just the right amount of spice for our adventurous 9-year old daughter) and the guacamole was delicious. Taco salad was enjoyed by daughter as well. I had the vegan fajitas and WOW – a HUGE portion of flavorfully grilled vegetables, warm tortillas, and vibrant salsas. The rice and black beans (refried weren’t vegan, most disappointingly) were also a perfect addition to the fajita filling. My wife had tamales and loved them as well.

The flan and churros were well received by my group, but as they weren’t vegan I didn’t get to try them. Hopefully they’ll add a vegan dessert sometime soon.

Our waitress was friendly without being overbearing, and the service was quick and efficient.

Highly recommend for a date or family meal.

From the moment I walked the service was great. The entire staff was pleasant and friendly. Very welcoming. The ambiance and decor were beautiful and quaint. Now their food was delicious and great portions. I will definitely make this a place to come back and eat again.

Treated my dad for Father’s Day so after shopping we were all hungry and in the mood for tacos! The hostess and the server were so warm and inviting. It’s a bar and restaurant with exposed brick walls along with a showcase of beautiful sombreros. The tacos were delicious!

The serving staff was courteous and considerate.I came with my elderly mom. They made accommodations for her as soon as she walked in, even giving her a straw for her drink. The background music was delightful, Julio to Santana. And the food yumyum. The tacos were inexpensive yet mouth watering. I had pulled pork. My mom had pulled beef which she could chew easily so U know it was buttery good .The bartenders are delightful.I give 5 stars across the board. Did I mention the easy location and backyard garden! The photos were taken mid-meal I went during happy hour.

They make the guacamole right at your table and it’s absolutely delicious. The margaritas are fantastic! Coconut really good but my favorite is the hibiscus one. Service was outstanding: the hostess was very kind and my server Guillermo was a solid 10/10.

The restaurant was open and clean. The waitress was super friendly. The food was delicious. My mom had the grilled salmon, which can with plenty of vegetables, and I had the shrimp quesadillas. The presentation of both dishes was pretty. Not to me tion the Red Sangria, YUMMY!!!! I will definitely return and recommend my friends.

We stopped in here on Easter Sunday for a casual brunch. Everything tasted great ESPECIALLY the guacamole – so well seasoned. I had a breakfast burrito with chorizo which had a great salsa verde with it served on top. The frozen margaritas were also great – not too sweet like most other places. Best of all was our server. I wish I remembered her name to give her a shout out. She was really sweet. I would definitely come back here!

Really great food and staff is so friendly. The nachos and Al pastor tacos were amazing. Best Al pastor tacos I have found on the UWS. The corn tortillas were the perfect consistency and flavor. My husband got the carnitas enchiladas with morita sauce and also loved his meal. They also have a great happy hour deal with $9 margs on Saturday 8pm-close

Pico De Gallo is one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to in the Upper West Side! The chicken fajita and beef enchilada were amazing! The service was very friendly! We had a wonderful experience there and will bring our families and friends back to try some more dishes! I highly recommend Pico De Gallo to my friends who crave for Mexican food.
