Started at the bar for tappin Tuesday. Kieran is a very good bartender. We let a waitress know when we were ready to eat. From here it went downhill. People that came after us were waited on before we were. We each turns going up to the hostess to tell them were ready to order. I was the last of our trio to let them know were waiting about an hour and this isn’t right. I think the wait staff was in the back goofing around. We couldn’t even see them to let them know. We were kind of a side room. When they finally took our order they didn’t even offer something for our inconvenience. The food did come fast and was very good. I told the great hostess on the way out l have been 3 other Parker John’s besides this one and this one is by far the worst service. The manager in charge at the time should find a different job.

Best wings ever!! Very flavorful and smoked. Great sauces. I love the house bbq. Great Mac n cheese. Chill sports bar atmosphere. Service could be a little better about checking on tables. I love visiting this restaurant when in the area.

Our party of four enjoyed our dinner at Parker John’s – Appleton. Two of us tried the Restaurant week menu. Others ordered pizza and meat platter and wings. The food was delicious. The Restaurant Week specials are a great value. My dessert was really good, except they were out of ice cream (big disappointment) but our server Olivia put extra butterscotch instead (no disappointment there!!). The cookie dessert was a tad dry and hard, but that wasn’t enough to overshadow the good food and serving sizes, and Olivia’s excellent and attentive service. She helped make our dinner and experience extra special.

Stopped here for lunch with a buddy. This was our first time eating at Parker John’s. We were seated quickly; the host was very friendly, and our server, Emma, was awesome. We started out with their Soconnie fries appetizer: curly fries, topped with bacon, tomatoes, raw cheese curds, green onions, cheddar cheese, and fresh jalapeños, and finished with sour cream and smoked beef brisket; they were very good.
My buddy had the half rack of baby back ribs with curly fries, brisket baked beans, and sweet cornbread. I had the beef brisket with mac and cheese, brisket baked beans, and sweet cornbread. The food was fantastic. They definitely know their way around a smoker. We really enjoyed our meal. We both look forward to returning. Oh, and their Carolina mustard sauce was our favorite.

I dont often leave reviews for places I visit frequently, but Parker John’s really impressed me tonight. We went for pizza because they offer $5 off the 16 inch on Mondays. We’d enjoyed a few of their specialty pizzas in the past (especially the Luau) but wanted to try a more traditional pizza, so we ordered the Kitchen sink, but I requested they leave off the green peppers because I am allergic to them.
The part that really impressed me was that when they realized they had mistakenly put the green peppers on half the pizza, that they came out to apologize after already starting another pizza for me. They brought out the original pizza so my partner didn’t have to wait longer, which I also appreciated.
I didn’t expect to want to go back so soon, because we finished their “Hog Crawl” ( a challenge to visit all 6 of their locations in a limited time), but I’m glad we did.

Love this place. The staff is always super friendly. The food is pretty good and the drinks perfect- they make my favorite Wisconsin Old Fashioned. Our waiter was Kaleb and he was very friendly and attentive without being overwhelming.

I really hate posting less than stellar reviews but so many people love this place I doubt this will have an impact.
Hubby and I ate at the Menasha location a year ago and enjoyed it. Yesterday, we decided to treat the family to dinner at the Appleton restaurant and were sorely disappointed. Aside from an outstanding waitperson, Audrey, worth her weight in gold, the whole experience was less than mediocre. All our entrees were cold, thrown together, and surprisingly flavorless. We politely accepted doggie bags which were thrown out when we got home
I don’t know if it was an off day, or bad cooks… but the quality difference between this location and Menasha is like night and day.
Still searching for decent BBQ in this area. Suggestions welcome.
