Ugh. I’m writing this review so the restaurant can work on the negatives. Picked this spot as it was close to the hotel and reviews seemed okay. I found a review mentioning the pot roast sandwhich. It was quoted as “spectacular” I’m glad I ordered it. It was quite tasty. Lots of tender beef, mushrooms, sautéed onions and a decent gravy with melted Swiss. I got it with the pubs fries which were hot and crispy. I also got 6 “hangover” wings which were really tasty. Decent size and the flavour was baked on. Now, the not so great. My wife ordered the chicken parm. Have a look at the pic….no parm. WHAT?? I have never seen a parm like this. The chicken was chopped up and mixed in the the penne noodles with dollops of sauce. Zero seasoning. When it arrived, it was pretty cold. No worries, she asked it just be reheated. It was back within a minute or so and was warm. I had asked for a steak sauce or bbq sauce- “ no sorry we don’t” . Only tobacco. This place overall will feed be masses with no issues, but please serve a proper dish if it’s on the menu. It appeared they were training a server. I overheard them at another table and she had been serving for over 18 years there. She will be missed as she’s moving on. Her trainee was a deer in the headlights. I get it. We have all been new to a job, but you can tell this isn’t a fit. Our served was very polite, but again, didn’t know what beers were on tap etc. I think they are working on the decor. Some things look refabricated. The booth benches are brutal (worn out with hole etc) as are the curtains (badly stained and dishevelled) easy fix though and would go along way. We stay at this hotel each time we drop our daughter off to college. Hoping by next year I can provide a more positive update.

Overall a bit pricey for the quantity you get. Other reviewers said good prices. I wouldn’t say $8 for a quarter lb burger plus $3.25 for side ($11.25) is cheap. $10 is. Chicken tenders and fries $11 and only got 3 small chicken tenders. My friend came here specifically for them. She said portions must’ve gotten smaller. The fresh cut fries were awesome. Also got zucchini plank for $9. Overall great environment. Well lit clean family friendly. Server wasn’t too conversational at all. But overall a nice place. Burger was good. Appreciate the fresh cut onion. Never a fan of Mayo packets though

This restaurant has a good menu, good food. It’s 2/3 pub and 1/3 restaurant, but worth it. I had a big slab of halibut, baked potato and coffee. $20. Seemed a little low, but O’m not complaining.
Food was seasoned just right, served hot. Coffee was in a large mug with unlimited refills. Perfect! And the waitress was helpful and polite to me. Left a big tip because she’d earned it.

My family goes here quite often for holidays and otherwise and once again the Harvest did NOT disappoint! We went for Mother’s Day and ordered items off the new updated menu and off their specials menu and it was absolutely delicious! I got the blueberry ricotta French toast and Pink Lux drink and was so so good! Our server, Melanie, was amazing even with having a larger party that included quite a few children while also having plenty of other tables to wait on and the food was out in a timely manner!
A couple of us went out to play the new duck claw machine that they have in their arcade/slot machine area while others were finishing up their brunch and it was loads of fun!
This restaurant is perfect for families and the prices are reasonable! We will definitely be back to try out their new breakfast menu!

4 stars because the price was higher than what we would normally pay for bar/resturant foods.

The food was good and my hubby had the cordon blue
The staff was amazing super friendly and super friendly a great little place right off from the interstate behind the holiday inn.
Those ladies work their butts off for a high traffic area.

There is more parking in back.
We would go back if we were in the area. You won’t be disappointed by choosing this place! Good food, good atmosphere and a great place to eat!

We are outside because of our dog and had our food to go.

I am on diet restrictions and had a baked potatoe and a side salad

I’m a local and have been coming here for years. They updated the menu with new offerings and I tried the Chicken cordon blue and the chicken broccoli Alfredo, both were excellent. Great place to a quick bite and a beer and definately the best place in town for families.

I was visiting the area for the first time, lodging at The Holiday Inn Express so I decided to try the on site New Harvest Restaurant.

I decided to have an early dinner so I arrived at the restaurant around 3:15PM on a weekday afternoon.

It was a seat yourself arrangement at the time so I selected a table and was immediately greeted by staff who took my drink order of a glass of ice water.

I chose the beef pot roast dinner and requested that the mushrooms not be included with the order which they were happy to oblige.

The order came out within 10 minutes and it was delicious….Pot roast with carrots and onions over mashed potatoes with gravy and a couple slices of bread on the side.

For dessert, I chose a slice of cookies and cream pie which was also delicious.

To sum up, good food and friendly prompt service and I plan to dine at this establishment again on future visits to the area.

Unreal. As a restaurautuer I understand being short staffed. I get it. I’ll never complain about times when anyone is short staffed. However, when the service and the food is this bad, I have to say something. Staying next door at the hotel our first dinner there on Friday was decent. The time it took to get drinks and food was over an hour. Forgiven because the food was good and the server said she was brand new. However, tonight was unbelievable. We ordered a Reuben and got what was definitely a take on a steak sandwich with onions, mushrooms, and some weird cheese mixture on garlic bread. When I finally got the servers attention she literally almost touched the sandwich with her fingers and said no that’s a ruebin see ? I am literally embarrassed for the industry seeing that this restaurant is operating. I am a CCM, CMC, and certified restaurateur. In the end arguing with this establishment was not worth it. I tipped this server 26%> Grabbed the last of the bottle of local wine that took me over a half hour to receive, and left. Absolutely disgusting and shameful on the owner’s part that you allow this food to be served l. You don’t deserve to own a restaurant if you can’t work it.
