Harry’s always hits the spot! The pretzel bites, staff fries, and feta have been consistently amazing since I started going in 2016. Snuck in for a quick lunch and were the first customers in, no wait, great service. Quite literally never had a bad experience here.

Riley the bartender was great and super welcoming. Unfortunately, the one other bartender working on Super Bowl Sunday had a seriously off-putting demeanor toward guests (as someone with 10+ years in the industry, I can spot poor hospitality when I see it). His attitude made what should’ve been an enjoyable night wicked uncomfortable.
From yelling to pool table guests, to reprimanding a guest for asking a SIMPLE question. It was insane behavior, perhaps he needs a vacation… but still. Everyone has a tough plate they’re dealing with at home, however, when people go out they want to enjoy within reason. Tonight between 12-last call, HE was beyond rides
I would go back to be served by Riley and the other servers/bartenders, but definitely not by the bartender who worked that Super Bowl Sunday shift with the dark hair, beard, + tattoos.

Went on a weekend, Saturday night, there’s a huge pool table where you can use coins and play.
For drinks we got VIOLET BEAUREGARDE – the best drink it was so smooth and with proper amount of basil and alcohol gin; SUAVE-MENTA which was fine, SUMMERTIME SANGERS which was not that great have had better ones at other places. The one in the picture is the VIOLET BEAUREGARDE – drink and the SUMMERTIME SANGERS.
The pasta was just tasteless. It had nothing just cooked pasta and sour cream on it. Ordered an Irish nachos. We expected it to be loaded nachos, but attended up coming just plain nachos with cheese and the paper it was served on was very bad quality with the cheese was sticking on the paper and apparently the nachos was also stuck on the paper so we had to waste a lot of nachos chips on the plate.
The service was little slow the waiter came after a very long time to take the order after taking the drinks order.

Great brunch this morning with my family here. We had the veggie omelette, the steak tips and Harry’s burgers. All was very good and tasty. Check the pictures attached. We finished everything with the weekly donuts. This week was chocolate and ice cream, yammy delicious. (Forgot to take the picture, so have just some little left).
All was topped with a great service, sorry forgot his name but he was nice and attentive.
Will try dinner next time to see how it is.

Such a lovely experience!! Aida is amazing and so personable. The chicken tendy tower was scrumtious. Will for sure be coming back to this gem of a neighborhood bar.

I attended Harry’s as a patron of university event. Upon leaving (alone) I let the bouncer stationed outside know that there was a man inside who was not part of the event and had made myself uncomfortable. I merely mentioned it as a warning upon exit, and a manager met me outside to let me, waiting at the T stop, know that they had spotted the man leaving in the opposite direction as foot, and that they’d be blacklisting him going forward. I know how difficult it can be nowadays to take such action, and that just reinforces how safe and supported it felt in that moment to attend this bar for the night. I let friends know how I was feeling, but the Harry’s staff went above and beyond to trek to where I was waiting at the T stop and assure me of the lack of future danger, nonetheless their intentions to prevent further danger to future female patrons. Good on Harry’s. They will receive my dollar next time I intend to drink in Allston/Brighton. Best to them and their staff, happy holidays!!

You ever seen the show cheers? The place where everyone knows your name, and they’re always glad you came? That’s Harry’s, for me. This is the ultimate neighborhood bar in which you will find me often. The staff is, without fail, so attentive and friendly. They care about your experience and truly go above and beyond to make sure you feel welcomed, full, and responsibly buzzed. They enjoy making new specials which always keeps it interesting, and their wings never disappoint. I have been coming for years and will be coming for many more.
