The food, service, and atmosphere were top notch. Everything was great especially when assisted by team member Emma. She answered all our questions and when taking our orders and delivered quickly to our dine-in table. Facility is very clean and the food was super fresh. Really cute seaside sandwich shop. Got the Hilltop sandwich and the ingredients (turkey, bread sauce, and cheese) were super fresh. Wish the sandwich was a it larger for the price. Fountain beverages are all Boylon and the birch beer flavor is an excellent root beer. Meals came with a cookie that was the perfect level of gooey and soft.

This Taste location is welcoming with friendly service. There are seats indoors and on patio.There are plenty of unique merchandise perfect for gift baskets: wine, savory or sweet nut mixes , canned fruits and olives, cookies, etc etc I ended up purchasing a box of chocolate chip bourbon cookies.

We happened upon this restaurant accidentally and are glad we did. They have quite a selection of sandwiches and salads. We had the Boardwalk Sandwich and the Chicken Caesar Wrap. Both were fresh and tasty. The dining area was clean, airy, and open. The bathrooms were clean although if busy, the urinal/toilet situation in the men’s bathroom could make for a very interesting story to take away from your visit to Virginia Beach. There was parking available although it was very limited and a little tight, but there are additional parking options close by. The prices were reasonable, but maybe a little high for what it was (without a side particularly). Certainly a nice place for fresh and quality food options if looking for a quick bite.

Best counter-serve restaurant in VA Beach. The ingredients are fresh, food quality is top notch, and the staff are extremely friendly.
My custom avocado salmon bowl was delicious as is the included bread.
The chicken curry wrap I had the day before was also a great value and they did not skimp on the filling.
I will definitely make this a regular stop.

Cute place! Very clean, well organized. We enjoyed the food, especially the Lynnhaven sandwich. The squash soup just okay. Staff was friendly.
