The restaurant staff and management exhibited unprofessional and unsatisfactory conduct. They imposed an exorbitant party fee of $23 on a group of four adults and two six-month-old children. Despite being seated since 7:00 PM, the food was delayed until after 8:00 PM. This occurred on Valentine’s Day, and the ambiance was subpar. Customers were visibly hungry, and their frustration was palpable throughout the establishment. The staff refused to provide any names or explanations for their actions. This was the most unsatisfactory dining experience I have ever had, and the rude Indian server’s behavior further exacerbated the situation. This incident has led me to question the ownership of the establishment and the quality of customer service. The staff did not even inquire about beverages until I explicitly requested them. There was no apology, discount, or acknowledgment of the due amount. Instead, they insisted they do not care if we did not even pay. This is the worst Indian restaurant in the entire Elk Grove, Northern California. The worst of the people works here. ere.

Food was very flavorful and tasted authentic, the food came out pretty fast we ordered butter chicken and some type of lamb , I forget the name of it , the garlic naan was so good dipped in the butter sauce . The waiter wasn’t very friendly but the food made up for the service.

Had a great experience at Indian Oven, and special thanks to Ansh for his outstanding service. He was extremely polite, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. Ansh has a very positive attitude and genuinely cares about customer satisfaction, which really made our dining experience enjoyable. Service like this truly adds value to the restaurant. Highly recommend Indian Oven, especially if Ansh is taking care of you!

Disappointing experience – I have ordered takeout from here multiple times and each time, the wait is far longer than the promised time. Today, I received my food 25 minutes past the listed availability. The menu now also apparently does not provide rice with the entrees, but is an additional cost. This seems cheap. The food is good, but likely won’t be coming back.

We ordered online and received an incomplete order. Out of the 5 naan we ordered, only 1 was included. I called the store to let them know, and we then had to drive back to pick up the rest of the order.
Despite the mistake being on their end, they only replaced the missing naan. I asked if it would be possible to receive 5 fresh naan instead, since we had brought back the original one that was now cold and had to make an additional 20-minute drive. Unfortunately, they weren’t willing to do that.
Had the order been packed correctly the first time, my family could have enjoyed all 5 naan fresh together. While they did offer a small dessert as compensation, it didn’t really make up for the inconvenience. I just wish they were a bit more accommodating considering how much our order total was. Overall, the service was disappointing, and I don’t plan on ordering from here again.

I am so happy we chose to eat lunch here. The service was amazing. We ordered a variety of dishes and all of them were delicious. We especially loved the aloo gobi! We will definitely come back again!

” Warning: Avoid Indian Oven at all costs. Extremely poor customer service and a lengthy wait time of over an hour for subpar food. The presentation was an afterthought, and the manager’s attitude was unacceptable. Unfortunately, this reflects poorly on the entire establishment. I will not be returning and strongly advise others to do the same.

This is the best indian food in the area, hands down. Only complaint is that it’s pricey so it’s more of a treat ourselves meal than a place we’d eat at more regularly. Naan is fab, rice is always perfect and main meals are delightful. Really love this place and want them to stick around forever so go visit them!

4 1/2 stars. This place opened on 4/11/18. Went on it’s first Saturday night. Restaurant is new, beautiful and clean. Food very good. Super friendly service. Drinks always topped up without prompting. Half star off for forgetting an order of garlic naan – it was remedied but got charged extra which was also fixed. Waiter forgot to give menu at the beginning of the service so we had to asked hostess for them. Dirty plates replaced. Other than few little kinks, my family enjoyed the experience.
