Went over 6 months ago and our waiter told us because they did not serve coffee we could bring coffee if we came again. My baked potato was so dry however we gave them another chance last night.
At first our waitress had a hostile attitude when she saw my coffee cup and stated rudely no outside drinks take it to car. We walked over. I set it to the side of table. Ordered water on a freezing windy 22 degree night. We had been outside walking over an hr to be at this restaurant.
After we ordered drinks I went outside and got in a few sips of my coffee.
Restaurant was so cold inside my adult daughter did not remove her jacket.
The food was good, but I was so cold all I wanted was a warm drink knowing we had a walk home. The wind had picked up and I didn’t want to step into cold again to have my coffee. Even warm tea would have been amazing.
The worst coffee is listed as drink on.menu. waitress said person updated menus recently but did not remove coffee and did not update online menu.
Menu is very small compared to online and easily $3-9 more expensive per item than online menu.
Daughter loved the hot garlic salmon, coleslaw so.so. rolls were bit dry. My steak was wonderful. Blooming onion petals and the blue cheese were great.
Waitress attitude was better by time we left, but spending $73 on dinner out to.be treated so rude immediately and no.signs posted no.outside beverages. Guess they expect infants to.be fed ahead of time.
We probably won’t return because of this policy as daughter usually has service with her and he needs his water at all times.

I enjoyed the number of fun burger options that they offered, it was hard to pick! My burger ended up being good, I liked the firecracker sauce a lot. Service was really slow and took a while for food to come out. If you were bored though, there were bar games and TVs interspersed throughout the restaurant to keep you occupied while you waited. Overall a fun little bar with a nice selection of burgers!

Just in town for the day and stopped in for lunch, we hd a BLT, rockstar burger, Reuben, and a steak sandwich, ordered the tots well done and just like everything else they were perfect! Our server also did a great job. If we were local we’d definitely be back.

Food was really good!! But I ordered some Blue label whiskey to celebrate a good hunt, NOT blue label, it was double black poured into the bottle and charged the $35 a shot. Asked the owner and he had nothing to say.

My colleagues and I stopped here for lunch today. The place was very busy when we arrived at just after 12:00 p.m. We were welcomed and seated promptly. We had to rearrange some tables in order to fit our group together. The server was kind and quick to help out with the rearranging. Hootenannies has a nice selection of beers both on tap and in the container. The sizes for the draws are generous both in the small and the large. The menu is easy to navigate and the selections are well suited for the environment. The prices ranged around the $10 mark for most meals +/- a few dollars. I ordered the “Ultimate Burger” and it came as expected. It was HUGE! Lots of protein and plenty of cheese to offset the meat. The burger was one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. Good flavor, cooked to medium well yet very juicy. The entrees proportions on the table were huge as well. The cost to food ratio is excellent in my opinion. I spent $20 for a lunch with a large beer and a large burger.
If you are traveling along I-76 in either direction, Hootenannies is well worth with the stop for a nice lunch or dinner. Don’t expect to get in and out quickly but take your time, enjoy the atmosphere, especially in the warmer months when you can sit on the patio. The staff is great, the food is excellent, the prices competitive. Great place to stop, relax, and have a nice meal during the day or on a journey across eastern Colorado

I was here two nights in a row over the holidays and was impressed with the prompt service and drink offerings, include having TRULY on tap with a plethora of flavoring options to add. I’m not often at Hootenannies but many of my family and friends have been recommending it for awhile and I’m glad I finally took their advice and starting coming here again!
