We were sat and given chips. The server took our drink order. It was not busy at this time. It took him 15 minutes to bring the drinks. Then he took our order. We had a whole conversation in Spanish about one of the items I ordered. The food comes out brought out by another server. The item we talked about was not there. We asked about it. Again in Spanish, the lady said she would ask the server. The server came and at first said we didn’t order it. We reminded him of the conversation. He then said oh I forgot and rang it in. I will say. The California burrito was excellent. The sope was pretty decent. Pastor tacos had a sweet taste to them, not the best we’ve had.

Stopped by on our way to Branson, reviews don’t fail. The caldo de res was so good. The meat literally melted it was so soft. The aguachiles spicy but amazingly good. My kids had tacos, the meat so tender. The fresh waters are so good, we had orchata, cucumber, and melon ( cantaloupe). Thank you Edgar for helping us today, keep up the good work.

5/5 stars from me. The drinks were fantastic, and the chips/salsa and burrito I ordered were amazing! The burrito was way larger than I anticipated, so I actually got to take home leftovers as well. My friends and I were having fun and laughing the entire time we were there (could have been our stunning personalities, could have been the drinks- only the bartender knows for sure lol)

I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant! Their variety, quality and the service is all worth mentioning. I love the chipotle chicken (#13), their Edward burrito, the Al Pastor tacos, and the chongo cheesecake for dessert! You definitely have to give this place a try to find your new favorite Authentic Mexican dish!

Was showing property in Springfield today and wanted Mexican. I’m so glad we tried this place. We will definitely be back. The food had very good flavors. Super tasty. I might not get the pork ribs in the fajitas next time, but it was still awesome. Might replace it with Carnita meat next time. Looking forward already to the next trip back! Sweet tea was good. Staff was friendly and attentive. We shared this and we’re both stopped and left part of it. Sorry we had dipped into it before remembering to take pictures.

They are exceptional for what we have experienced in that area. Fresh well seasoned food very flavorful, huge portions a single fajita meal can feed 2 and good salsa with great wait staff. We will go back and we drive 40 miles and will visit again for our Mexican restaurant go to. Best in Springfield and I’ve ate at many. More authentic style. As we’ve lived in Texas and Nebraska! Go here!

This place is authentic. Looks like they have recently remodeled the interior and it looks very very nice. The interior is covered with black leather chairs and boots. I don’t see any stained ceiling tiles or anything that suggest this place is neglected. Phenomenal place to eat inside of.

We all ordered quesabirria which is tacos or quesadillas dipped in enchilada sauce and then served with chicken or barbacoa. I also had the tamales and red sauce and they won’t have a phenomenal. The food is absolutely delicious. Normally I have to add salt to the salsa but there’s a seasoned perfect. Definitely try this if you want authentic Mexican food in Springfield Missouri. Five stars probably my second favorite restaurant.

Enjoyed our lunch here. Based on a recommendation from the server I had the “Caldo de Rez Rojo, Spiced beef stew with corn on the cob, potato, zucchini, carrots and cilantro.” Served with
lime and tortillas, it was indeed spicey, but VERY good. The beef was flavorful and quite tender.
The service was friendly, prompt, and appropriately attentive but definitely not “hovering.”
I’m sure we’ll be back to explore more of the menu.

This restaurant is amazing! From the food to the service and everything in between. I really enjoyed my daily lunch special, the #13 featuring chipotle chicken with rice and beans. Their chorizo taco was delicious too! We also grabbed dessert this visit and it was absolutely wonderful. I can’t recall the name, but if you just show them this photo and order it you’ll be so happy you did! Portions are generous and the food is top notch. 10/10 would recommend!!
