For a $52 breakfast, I left both hungry and frustrated. I was asked how I wanted my omelette cooked—hard, medium, or soft—which I’ve honestly never been asked before and found odd. My husband ordered the two eggs, and the eggs came out completely different in color and taste, which was concerning.
I ordered sourdough and multigrain toast, only to be told after ordering that there was no sourdough. What arrived was half of a half slice of multigrain toast. I’m all for portion control, but this was excessive.
We also asked for regular black coffee and repeatedly got pushed to order an Americano instead. There’s a big difference between standard black American coffee and an Americano, and it felt unnecessary to upsell.
The location itself is great, and I really wanted to love this place, but between the portions, confusion, and overall experience, it just wasn’t worth it. I’d save yourself the hassle and money and choose one of the many better breakfast spots in South Miami.
Rated 2 stars because the truffle omelette was actually really tasty. Everything else was standard and overpriced.
