The curry chicken cutlet rice bowl with soy egg is the ultimate comfort meal. The star of the dish is the crispy chicken cutlet—perfectly breaded and fried to a golden crunch on the outside while staying juicy and tender on the inside. Each bite has that satisfying contrast of texture that makes a great cutlet stand out. The soy-marinated egg is a standout addition. Soft-boiled with a creamy, jammy yolk, it adds a silky richness that balances the crispy chicken and bold curry.

You order with a screen and then they call your name, a no fuss delicious experience. With so many options on State St, I felt as though I made a great choice.

Hot spicy fried noodles, under $8 and incredible. Very spicy with a fabulous flavor, some of best noodles I’ve ever had. perfect texture, just great. Friendly service, relaxed casual atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Taiwan little eats is one of the family owned, hidden gems that make Madison so great. I make a point to go here every time I am in town. The food is authentic, delicious, and ready quickly. The atmosphere is perfect, especially on cold days, and the staff are the friendliest in town. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Whether you are looking for a spot to grab tea and study, or a need a bigger sit-down meal, TLE has you covered.

Found this little gem and it was incredible! I wasn’t sure what to order so we just order a bunch of stuff. The chicken filet and pork belly were delicious, added teriyaki sauce over the rice. The sweet potato plum fries have such a unique flavor. If you are in the are so stop by and chow down! We ordered the combo and enjoyed the milk tea and lemon fizzy drink too.

Their fried chicken steak is really not tasty. The seasoning of the chicken steak is really bad. There are salt grains on the surface, which is very salty. The milk tea and set meal are okay, but I don’t recommend their chicken steak, which is really unpalatable. In the end, I had to order another cup of milk tea to relieve it.

Taiwan Little Eats has a great location on State Street. The atmosphere is cute and cozy – but unfortunately the food did not match the vibe for us. I ordered braised pork over rice noodles and my husband had the same over white rice. They are the same price but his came with a lot more veg and mine just came with carrots. I did enjoy the spinach on the side, but wasn’t a fan of the dish itself. The pork was very fatty and sugary. The egg was rubbery. I was hoping for higher quality with the price of almost $20/person. There is also no service – you order on a screen and pick up from a window. Unfortunately would not recommend this place.

This was my second time eating here. I came once last summer and again this summer. Like most shops on state street, it has a small interior. However, they seem to maximize the space to the best of their ability.
You can order at the counter or the kiosk next to the counter. The format of the menu has changed a bit since they last time I visited. It took me a minute to find the dish that I ordered last time. The new menu format does allow you to customize your meal more, so that’s cool!
I ordered a bento box with popcorn chicken, curry sauce with spice, rice, and a veggie side salad. The veggie side salad comes with thousand island. I’m not a fan of the dressing, so I’ll probably order the veggies without it next time.
I added a tea egg to my meal. It was good, but not as dark and flavorful as I remembered it to be last summer.
I topped off my meal with a pineapple jasmine bubble tea (lychee included). That was light and refreshing! Not too sweet, but also not too watery.
I can’t wait to come back in the fall and winter. The cool temps would pair well with this hearty warm meal!
