Reviews
It’s a nicely decorated place and our waiter was great. We enjoyed the experience and would recommend it.
We DEVOURED 2 pasta dishes, an app, and about all the wine they had in the cellar. Everything was perfectly balanced nothing was overpowering. I will say this place stands up to every other spot in the north end. Reasonable prices, delicious food, just what you would expect for Italian in this area 10/10!!
Would come back.
I ordered one of their pasta dishes, and it really stood out. The pasta tasted fresh and rich, which makes sense because the restaurant prepares handmade pasta on-site every day, including pappardelle, gnocchi, and ravioli.
The menu focuses on traditional Italian comfort dishes like pappardelle Bolognese, spaghetti meatballs, carbonara, and seafood pasta, along with classic appetizers like calamari and bruschetta.
The atmosphere felt relaxed but still a bit upscale—perfect for a casual dinner, date night, or a nice meal after exploring the North End.
Overall: Pappare Ristorante & Bar is a great place to enjoy homemade pasta and traditional Italian flavors in one of Boston’s most famous food neighborhoods.
The food was absolutely top notch but it would be a disservice to not mention how beautiful the restaurant itself was. Wonderful location and lots of natural light upstairs. The staff was incredible and just made the experience. They had lovely suggestions and they always made sure that we had what we needed throughout the course of our meal.
I would recommend anyone try Pappare Ristornate & Bar whether it be for a night out on the town or a lunch with friends. You will leave with full and happy bellies and a wish to visit again soon.
I’d like to add that we originally had reservations for this place (I recommend getting reservations for any restaurant in north end as they fill up quick!) but there was still no wait and we got seated immediately. There is not much of a choice for parking because it’s such a busy area, but make sure you’re aware of where you park or try to take an uber or taxi.
