Tasty and fresh food with great aervices. Waiter suggested a spicy oil to go with the salmon. Indeed, nice combination.
Parking during lunchtime is a bit difficult. We got might be the last spot in the plaza.

We went there for my friend birthday, it was an amazing evening, we took my mom, she makes the best ñoquis aka Gnocchis, so she is not to kin to eat out, but she was amazed on how good they were. We will come back, we order the calamari(ok, miss the tentacles, those are my fav, but they don’t serve them anymore), we also got the artichokes , WOW, delish, and the birthday boy order the GOLFO, what an amazing place.
We closed the night with a great teramisu and cappuchino.
We will be back. Specially on the 29th as it is our custom to eat ñoqui aka Gnocchi on every 29th of the month.

A lovely, highly dog-friendly restaurant with outdoor (heated) patio and indoor (many small dog owners walked right in, pooches in arms) dining. Classic Italian fare, known for their veal. Competent seafood. Sauces are a bit bland and overly “mushy” (too much thickener and insufficient distinctive flavors) to make the food 5-star. Fried calamari was above average but still a bit chewy. The Antipasti Misto had too much cured meats and not enough veggies for my liking. Wish they continued to offer the toasted polenta (saw it in one of the menu photos). Spinach salad was good. Of the mains, the Lobster Ravioli was a bit fishy (tasted like defrosted seafood not fresh), the Scallopine alla Les (veal with brandy cream sauce) failed to let the brandy stand out in a smother of sauce – though the veal was very tender, as veal tend to be. The Specialita di Barbara (seafood on bed of salad) was very good. We had the Tiramisu & Vanilla Gelato. Both were very good and the combo was excellent. If I were to return, I’d lean in on seafood (but avoid any lobster), tomato sauces and salads. Would return just bc they’re so relaxed about dogs! Service was prompt and attentive despite the pre Mother’s Day crowd (place was packed).

Traditional Italian, comfortable decor, seatings were a bit tightly arranged, somewhat noisy also (or lively?), kind of hard to have a conversation across the table. Service was great. Prices were a bit on the high end, but good portions. The mixed green had a light dressing which I liked. The fried calamari was pretty good, lightly coated, tender. The pastas were all quite decent, flavorful, not heavy with fresh ingredients!

Aldo’s has been one of the landmark Italian restaurants in the San Jose area for decades (similar in that way to Il Fornaio). They have a fantastic selection of food, fresh pasta and Gnocchi (I love the Bianca niece – aka Snow White gnocchi), veals fish and even a really tasty eggplant parmesan dish. The service is always great and the location feels open and spacious yet also inviting. They often have a number of specials so it is always a treat to try something new when you visit. The bar has many options so when you come here please expect a full dinner experience. Nowadays there are many great Italian options in the area, but this one has remained among my favorites.

I like this place.
Veal parmesan and chicken parmesan are always available despite not being on the menu.
For an Italian restaurant I don’t get western wagon wheels hanging from ceiling?
The food was good, the place was clean and the staff is always friendly.

This place has great Italian food; but there is no children’s menu here. The restaurant can do half portions for our 11-year-old son. The service is friendly and patient while abiding to the COVID-19 protocols. We ate outside in the cold but there were gas burning heaters to keep us warm. For appetizer my son enjoyed the fried calamari more than his spaghetti and meatballs entree. My wife said the clam chowder was delicious.

Went there for a Seminar. The meal was free because I listen to how these people told us how they could cure our pain! It was very interesting. Anyway I had spaghetti with meat sauce and it was delicious . I think I will go back for another meal of spaghetti with meat sauce. The prices are reasonable not to expensive. The place is located in Los Gatos.
