The pizza is large New York style. There are red sauce and white sauce options and you can buy them in slices. My favorite is the red sauce with pepperoni and sausage. The pie is thin and light but it holds up well with all the toppings. The dough is a little chewy and the crust is puffy, similar to a sourdough bread. The sauce feels like it was made fresh with tomatoes. There’s a good amount of cheese on the pie. The pepperoni has a good chewy texture, I wish the pies would be covered in it. Sausage crumbs are well seasoned.
They are made quickly once you order, usually takes about 15-20mins. You can call in for pick up orders.
The space is nice and clean with casual seatings. The shop is still working to add the final touches to the space.
Absolutely delicious NY slice and Neapolitan Margarita pies. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!!
I’ve gone twice and both times their slices selection is very minimal so you’re either stuck with their minimal slice options or ordering a massive NY pie. I miss their personal pies ☹️
Because the minimal options, we asked the staff if there’s any pies that are about to come out and they said no then but <10 minutes had 2 pies comes fresh and hot from the oven. Not sure why they couldn’t just tell us.
I wish they’d go back to offering their old menu. I will say their cheese slice was really good!
The pizza itself is pretty good.. wouldn’t call it the best in the neighborhood but definitely decent. However, the prices by the slice are honestly pretty ridiculous and just don’t really make sense. The prices have also gone up already in the short time that Frankie’s has been open.
In my opinion, the only thing on the menu that is worth it is the personal pies, but those are only served on Mondays and Tuesdays. It’s hard to justify spending $12 on 2 slices when you can buy a personal pizza for $10-$12.
I do hope that at some point I’ll choose this over other options, but for the time being, I don’t think I can.
