Used to be my favorite spot to eat for years. As of recently it seems like they are being racist to you if you are white?? Arrived at 6:55pm and the whole place is full and online it said they close at 8pm. My family walks in and they say “ sorrrrry we closed”. It wasn’t even 8pm. I told my friend about it and she said that same thing has happened to her 2-3 recently and she’s done going here and felt they were rude to her bc she’s white as well. Ugh disappointed.

We were seated right away and checked on by several waitstaff throughout our meal. Mojitos were made fresh and tasted great! Chips and salsa good, guacamole delicious. We were given a cup of soup that had a nice flavor, tomato based with lots of bow tie noodles. Food came out quickly and was hot and tasty. Would go back.

I ordered something based off the picture. When the item was brought out it didn’t look like the picture. The waitress then walked away. I had to wait till she came back to ask her about it and when I did ask about it, I was told they no longer serve it like that. That is something that should have been stated when I ordered, not after I asked about it and also it was only 3 of us and the gratuity was already added!! It was 3 not 6 or more. It was my birthday lunch with my friends. Won’t be back

This place is a little bit hidden in the small downtown area of Round Lake. It’s technically inside of a grocery store. We liked that you get complimentary soup and chips and salsa.

We tried the Lomo en chile de arbol, that was good and spicy. We also have the enchiladas rojas de queso. Good as well, a nice portion and a medium spicy level.

But my favorite thing about this place is the Horchata, it tastes perfect compared to most Mexican places that don’t know how to make it or use powder.

We shall be back.s

The food was delicious. Their red salsa had a subtle kick but paired flavorfully with their asada and cactus salad. The horchata (rice water beverage) was fulfilling on its own. Was pleasantly surprised by the small bowl of fideo (soup) served before the meal. Service and wait time were great. We ate here for lunch this day, but I look forward to returning for dinner and trying one of their frozen Margaritas or two.

For starters, the atmosphere recieved 4 stars cause the Mexican music playing was abit louder than needed but this torta was beyond great. Why ? You say. Cause they lighting toasted the bread halfs before adding the stuff.
Why you ask again ?
To make it extremely easy to cut cause this is too good to let it spill the goods but much easier to eat.
The soup did have a great spice kick to open my nose passage. The salsa was weak but a great lite lunch. Incredible Spanish rice.
