We had our Booker High School 80’s Reunion at Mattison’s Forty One and it was absolutely perfect! From start to finish, everything went smoothly and far exceeded our expectations. Jacque, our event coordinator, was amazing! She made the entire process so easy and she was attentive to every detail. Robert, the general manager, was wonderful and even opened the bar early so that we could watch the Bucs game before our event began. Shawn, our bartender, was so much fun, super friendly and incredibly helpful all night long!
The food was unbelievable, from the Beef Wellington and Bruschetta appetizers to the gourmet entrees. Everything was cooked perfectly, served warm and was absolutely delicious!
The restaurant was gorgeous and accommodated our entire group comfortably, even with the dance floor. Everything during our magical night was perfect! We are beyond impressed with everyone, and everything, at Mattison’s Forty One and we will definitely be hosting our future events at this venue.

Wasn’t the place we planned on going to, but we definitely stumbled on a true gem of Sarasota.
The food was perfect, Ribeye was cooked so good, bruschetta was possibly best I’ve ever had.
Randy our waitress was very attentive and so professional and nailed it with her recommendation for how the ribeye steak is best cooked. Medium rare all the way!
Perfect vibe too, the way I like it, nice live background music, not too loud, comfortable seating and a low lit and cozy formal vibe! Great for a date!
Also, hostess was great, made sure we got a booth from a call ahead, and manager on duty check on us!

Was given the opportunity to try this restaurant, and left more than satisfied! Chef Alex and the staff were amazing. Awesome personalities, very knowledgeable with the menu, and the food was delicious! The atmosphere was very elegant, and there was a live singer. 10/10 recommend. Thank you again Chef Alex!

Great restaurant with a real varied menu, much more so than other restaurants of its caliber. I had the brick chicken which was delicious. We shared the shrimp rangoon, which was unbelievably delicious. Never had anything like it. They have a happy hour, with reduced prices on drinks and appetizers and good dining music. There were four of us and out everyone raved how about the food.

This was our 3rd time dining here. First time was over 2 years ago and since we moved to Punta Gorda it’s a bit further drive but wow well worth it. Tonight we celebrated getting married and chose to have our dinner here. It did not disappoint. We started with shrimp Rangoon which was their own version of crab Rangoon but 100x better. We also ordered the crab cake which was good, we did enjoy the pickle veg that accompanied it. They still had the $40 restaurant week menu which My wife ordered, beef brisket poutine. It was my first time having poutine and wow amazing, brisket was so juicy, I couldn’t care too much for the cheese with it but overall great. By the time our entrees were served we were both getting full. I had the duck breast which the portion was huge. Best duck breast I’ve had. My wife had the skirt steak which she barely touched bc she was so full by that point but I’ll be eating that for lunch tomorrow. To end we had the bread pudding which topped it all off. Thank you to our server Audrey who was amazing!

We dine at Mattison’s 41 a few times a year and enjoy it. We went to the Thanksgiving buffet this year and there was a great selection. The highlights for me were the shrimp cocktail and tuna nachos, prime rib, salad selections, Mac and cheese and the desserts were delicious. Ham and turkey carving stations were offered and of course the usual Thanksgiving sides. It was really well planned out and delicious for the price.

We came for dinner . Shawn, our server, was great. Very attentive. I had the house special fettuccine with fresh veggies and jumbo shrimp. House special soup was beer cheese with red pepper. And for dessert we had blueberry, white chocolate chip bread pudding. My husband had the reconstructed pot roast, house salad. It was all so delicious .
