Other reviews are pretty accurate. There are a lot of restrictions around how and what you can order, especially with the all-you-can-eat option.
We ran into an issue with our party of three. One person doesn’t eat seafood and couldn’t even finish half a boil, but because two of us ordered all-you-can-eat, she was required to do the same. That policy makes it tough for mixed groups.
Food quality was average at best. Regardless of seasoning choice, everything tasted surprisingly bland.
What really stood out was the service pattern. Our server was very attentive at first, but seemed to completely avoid our table after the food came out. We waited 40 minutes just to reorder. The table next to us, with a different server, made the same comment. It felt less like an isolated service issue and more like a strategy to slow down refills.

Wonderful celebration dinner for me and my fiance. Wings were great, tried two different sauces. Seafood boil, snow crab and sausage all butters!

Was greeted by a hostess when I walked in, went to bathroom first…which definitely needed attention… was a bit messy & unclean and the place was half empty at midday @5pm so no excuses but once I got service from the bar w/ Angela (Angie) service went all the way up! She had great suggestions, she was warm & friendly. And my oysters came out fast not to mention she nailed my drink perfectly! The midday weekend atmosphere was soothing for me..not too loud & very enjoyable. I’m new to the neighborhood & will definitely be back soon & definitely asking for ANGIE! You should too!!

Fresh seafood, great flavors. The fried wings are awesome. Small dinning area but it’s worth the try. Take out is better, due to limited seating. There’s a park down the street to eat if you can’t wait until you get home.

My husband and I are from Sarasota and we were meeting a friend for lunch in St. Pete and Jason wanted to go to the hungry crab. We had never been. We got there early and some of the staff was at a meeting. Rachel Hostess, Server, turned into a Bartender was very knowledgable about the menu. Our food was delicious and Rachel went above and beyond. she was there right when we needed her, pleasant with her great smile. It was such a pleasant experience. Since we go there Often, we will definetly go back and have great food and a great experience with Rachel!

Used to love this place until this past dining experience. Food was still excellent until this.Went on a Saturday night, decently busy inside. The women’s bathrooms were beyond disgusting, trash everywhere, feces and urine left everywhere in 2 of the 3 bathroom stalls. You could smell it from outside the restroom. I told management and watched them make the bus boy enter the restroom to clean it. However, after 5 mins of seeing him in the bathroom there was no way it was clean. The right thing to do was shut down the bathroom and fully deep clean. If they are using the bus boy to clean bathrooms on a busy night, it’s the same cleaner who wipes tables off. Makes me wonder how they handle the kitchen after witnessing this! Horrible just horrible.

First I want to give a shout out to Rachel for her kindness, patience and her professionalism. This was my first time eating at this establishment and was surprised and pleased. Was my friend’s mother Birthday so we decided to eat there I forgot it was Valentine’s Day knowing a lot of people would be eating out. I think it might have been 14 of us. This didn’t deter Rachel at all. Thank you from my heart ❤️ for all you do.

We REALLY wanted to have seafood from a nice local place. Found this place near us and gave it a shot. So happy we did! The place looks amazing, the server is so friendly, the smells coming from the kitchen make your mouth water and the food looks and tastes great! Back home (Wisconsin) might have seafood but not this tasty OR fresh. The lunch boil we got was plentiful and delicious AND priced right! I wish we lived closer!
Do yourself a favor, stop here and eat – A LOT! We tried a few things and I really don’t think you could go wrong no matter what you ordered! ENJOY!
