Amazing restaurant and wonderful service! We had a 60th birthday party on a Saturday recently for 22 people and everything was perfect! The food was excellent and came out in a timely manner so everyone was eating together. Everything went fast and smoothly. Definitely a great place for a large party, family meal or a dinner for two. My first time going there and it will be a place I will go to again!

I remember, in my childhood, this restaurant being so amazing! Unfortunately, it wasn’t that this time. We ordered rack of lamb, steak and Tony’s famous seafood combo. The rack of lamb was completely overdone. We ordered the steak to be med rare and it came out chewy and well done. The seafood rice was tasty but was mostly rice. The drinks were so potent, they were hard to drink and we’re not lightweight. It’s unfortunate, I wanted it to be better.

Ordered a rare filet mignon, no bacon. Came out with a bacon wrap and was the driest piece of meat ever . Not one drop of juice in the steak or on the plate. Flimsy knife that didn’t cut the dry meat. Also had a shrimp scampi. A lot of shrimp, but about 6oz of butter that the pasta(ordered spaghetti, got linguini) was swimming in and the pasta was bland. Terrible meals. We wont be back.

Shrimp Mocambique appetizer not impressive – fully in shell, so messy, flavor was like a Tabasco sauce. Not a flavorful/tasty combination but it is a hot spicy.
The oven roasted chicken bone-in was very good and moist.
The braised pork loin “Febras de Porco” was flavorful but inconsistent on texture per piece which is a hearty portion but it went between moist and dry.
The soup a kale with a potato base was very good.
The Home-Style Shrimp over rice with a garlic sauce was dull and lifeless – no taste.

I ordered take out for 25 people: chicken, broccoli and ziti Alfredo, baked scrod, green beans and roasted potatoes. My guests and I LOVED everything. They delivered on time and set up warmers. They were recommended to me by a friend and I will recommend them to anyone who wants to cater an event. They will be my go-to any time I have guests but don’t want to cook. Again, the food and service was Five-Star!

Just picked up two orders of fish and potatoes. Amazing as usual but very skimpy on the coleslaw and tartar sauce. The kale soup and chicken soup were also delicious but if you charge for the extras please give enough.

This place had catered my wedding back in 1994 and the food was excellent authentic Portuguese so last night I decided to go there and eat with my new wife. After driving over 1hr to get there we go down into the basement where the restaurant is and there are no windows with very poor lighting and atmosphere with 3 other people sitting at one table at 6 o’clock on a Saturday night We order the Shrimp Mozambique and the seafood stuffed mushrooms. The shrimp was mediocre and the mushrooms I believe were frozen out of a box the stuffing was like paste with a little piece of American cheese on top. The grilled cod fish was a terrible little thin piece of cod that had been cooked on the flatiron grill and the red bliss potatoes were old and reheated the peppers were mushy and the onions were raw. The Seafood Mariscada had no flavor and looked like it was cooked in dirty water with a side of horrible dry rice. I don’t mind driving and paying for good food but never
again.
