I can confidently say that our meal at MeaterEater was by FAR the best both myself and my partner have ever had! I cannot fault anything – from the start to the end, the servers were attentive and extremely knowledgeable about the variety of steaks the restaurant had to offer, the complimentary homemade bread and butter was sensational, and everything was cooked to perfection. We had the brisket and burnt ends to start and my word – the softest and most flavoursome meat that didn’t even require being cut with a knife! Top tip – you MUST put some brisket/burnt ends on top of your bread and butter – amazing! We were then served an incredible 850g Porterhouse steak with the potato fries. The restaurant’s take on tiramisu is also a must try. All in all, our dining experience felt intimate and overwhelmingly special. We were out celebrating my partner’s birthday and he was blown away! The experience and food is worth every single penny. Thank you for having us!

It was very quiet with just our table & 1 other on a Monday night with around 4 people, even though we had reserved. It was around £130 with cocktails & main. The service was very good & friendly & they talk you through the bread & flavoured butters they serve with it. After seeing the menu, we then got told that only 2 variety of steaks were available? I don’t understand why they didn’t tell us before hand, so being limited to 2 choices of steak. The actual steak was full of flavour when brought out & then the waitress drizzled it with lots of olive oil that I would have preferred not to have. It was nice, but availability for me of wanting to try some different steak took (Australian) away the experience, they also have no vegetable sides, so check before you book with them. I would try another steak house next time.

My sister and I had the privilege of dining at the MeatEater Steak &Wine on our second night in Prague. We chose to dine at the MeatEater because we believe anyone can find good quality meat anywhere, but to have a master of Steak Cook Off (that won five times world champion) to grill that piece of meat to perfection would be rare to find. We chose the Degustation Menu to have a taste of different dishes, and it was well worth the experience. All the dishes were extremely well prepared, and one can tell many hours of labor of love went into the preparation. The steak was juicy, and melted in our mouths. I chose medium rare, charcoal-grilled strip loin from Creekstone Farm, drizzled with pepper sauce, and it was both rich and complex nearly bringing me to tears of joy. From the impeccable service of the staff in the dining room (a shout out to our server Ricardo), to the open kitchen, combined with the impeccable meal, our dinner at MeatEater Steak&Wine was a lovely experience. We even chatted with the grill master, Daniele Govoni, who kindly shared his knowledge and expertise on how to transform a simple piece of meat into a delicious, tasty and artistic culinary experience. Those in the United States may be able to experience Grill Master Govoni’s work soon, as he will open a MeatEater in Dallas, TX in 2027! Thank you master D. Govoni for your service, and we can’t wait to welcome you to the United States!

From the moment we walked in Max the waiter made us feel very comfortable sitting us with a view of the kitchen. After bringing us some water he then delivered several varieties of fresh baked bread and a selection of homemade butters, each of which he described with great detail, all of them were delicious and difficult to choose a favourite. We choose burnt end pork belly for a starter which simply melted in our mouths. Again for our mains Max came over explained each type of steak and it’s origin , also explaining how it would be cooked.
From our position we able to watch Daniele and his team prepare and cook our food.
I have a fish and shell fish allergy which concerned Daniele so after chatting with us we able to change a few of the items we’d choosen to accommodate for my needs, he then came out again while eating to make sure I was ok.
This truly was a first class service , we were well looked after, made to feel special and with Daniele coming out to chat with us after the meal just made the evening perfect. Oh I totally forgot to mention the food, my steak was , I believe, the best steak I’ve ever eaten and believe me I’ve eaten quite a few. We will most definitely visit Daniele’s establishment again if we come back to Prague. Please do yourself a favour and eat at Meateater Prague.

I saw veal sweetbreads on the menu when we walked by the day before, I made a reso immediately. As you can see from the pictures, we couldn’t even wait to take the proper photos before diving in! Great menu, driven by a passionate and creative chef (who came out to speak with us). Will certainly be back the next time I’m in Prague.

Fantastic food and service at MeatEater! We celebrated my mum’s birthday at MeatEater whilst in Prague for the weekend, and had a wonderful time.

Not only was the food all fresh, homemade and delicious (including the bread, butters, tiramisu & cannolis, made by Daniele!) but the service was also spectacular; knowledgeable and attentive, and nothing was too much trouble.

Chef Daniele came out to chat to us, and also let us sample his homemade pepper sauce free of charge, and provided his delicious tiramisu, with a candle, also free of charge for the birthday celebrations.

A small, intimate and personal service at a great restaurant, would definitely recommend!

My wife and myself choosed the dégustation menu: it’s a wonderful journey we had with tons of flavours and textures. Each dish is made to surprise and discover some unusual parts we don’t usually eat.

A good restaurant is nothing without a good service. Both waiters we undubitously good, with a perfect english, nice comversation and always with good explanations on what we were facing.

We also had the chance to speak with the Chef, Daniele Govoni, who shared with us hus passion for good food.

Clearly, the price values the experience.

An absolutely exceptional restaurant with a stunning atmosphere. We arrived without a reservation and with our children, and were warmly welcomed. The food was simply outstanding — the starters were imaginative and creative, and the steak itself an absolute culinary delight.

A special mention goes to David, whose service was incredibly warm, polite, highly knowledgeable, and at the same time wonderfully relaxed and humorous — especially with our children.

It was, in every sense, an unforgettable evening. Thank you so much. We will most certainly return on our next visit to Prague.

I went back to this exclusive amazing restaurant after 3 years. Shared a 600 gram striploin steak with my uncle and 2 glasses of wine. The chef was walking around and we had good conversations and a great time. Also about my last experience at this restaurant. We also got a small digestive on the house. This steakhouse is the best in Prague and a real experience! I would recommend 100% .

The food was the best I’ve had in Prague thus far. The service was impeccable. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The amuse bouche was an unexpected treat. I had the smoked brisket starter, which was simply amazing. The main—surf and turf was excellent. If you get a chance, treat yourself to this sublime dining experience!
